Parenting is considered the most important of all real profession and it requires more awareness and alertness than any other facet of human affairs. Ironically, little or no attention is given for adequate preparation for this all-important task. And many parents know all it takes to prepare for a successful career, such as going to school and pursuing relevant courses.

Even after starting the career, every opportunity is sort to attend seminars, conferences, workshop and other refresher courses, in other to keep abreast of modern trends in that career so as to facilitate performance improvement. Conversely, it's sad but true that those same individuals approach child-rearing which is a more important undertaking by far, in an ill-prepared or, at best, half-hearted manner.

The challenges of our days require that you become as aggressive and attentive in child training as you are in your career and even more. Time are changing, so are youths and so are issues they face while growing up. You must therefore make yourself relevant and profitable to your children by facing squarely the reality of your days and even keeping a step ahead.
