VO- what is your husband date of birth
me- 10 Sept 198X
VO- How will you survive when your husband is not working
me- He is on a teaching assistantship with stipends. (My i-20 shows that I have suuficient funding for 1 year)

me- 3 months ago
VO- What will you be doing when you get there
me- vocational activity
VO- like what
me- swimming and cooking
VO- have you done any interview before
me- no
VO- why did you change your interview to Abuja
me- because my I-20 did not arrive early and I lost the early date I have in Abuja
VO- Sorry you did not meet the requirement

In my own opinion I think your wife did not answer the following questions satisfactorily

VO- How will you survive when your husband is not working
me- He is on a teaching assistantship with stipends. (My i-20 shows that I have suuficient funding for 1 year)

My Thought: The VO believed 3 months is too short for you to have requested to join your husband or apply for a visa dependent on him. Wait like a year before applying

me- vocational activity
VO- like what
me- swimming and cooking
My Thought: You made it too obvious you are dependent on your husband and you have no ties to your home country which means you both have no plans to return back home. Another angle may be the mode of deposits into the account you presented. VO will ask, so if your husband is out of job for 1 year and half, you can only survive 1 year.
