Ethiopia and Eritrea fired BVR missiles on each others jet fighters and shot themselves down !

Has China and Japan fired anti-ship missile on each other?
.
So where does Nigeria stand since your air force has never fired a missile in air to air combat.

An act of war?

You said threat not an act of war.

Always shifting goal posts.

Where does South Africa stand since your pilots have NEVER fired a missile in real combat or combat training against another air force, with your Gripen jets?

Nigerian air force has fired PL-9C training missiles against Pakistani air force pilots in combat dogfight training.

South Africa does not even have IRIS-T training missile versions.

The last air war you fought was with ancient 1970s Mirage jets having obsolete radars and missiles, you lost the war to Cuba's teenage MiG-23 pilots and after the little boys shot down SAAF pilots, your air force retreated to park all jets inside hanger on the air base grounds.

You want to boast about an air war you lost to Cuban kid pilots that had zero war experience gringrin

SA pilots have fired many missiles from gripens during combat training and A-darter missile testing exercises.

SADF was just on the verge of using nuclear weapons in Angola which could have caused more catastrophe to be talked about for many centuries, but the US came in rescue to facilitate the talks instead.

If South Africa drops one nuclear bomb on Cubans in Angola, Soviet Union will reply with ten nuclear bombs on Pretoria, your country will be deleted from world map that day o !

War history records Cuban boys with zero war experience shot down several South African Mirage jets, but SAAF failed to shoot down any MiG-23....they forced you to ground your air force for the rest of the war in air superiority role.

A-Darter missile test was just to test the missile NOT a jet aircraft combat training exercise. There was no role playing enemy aircraft to challenge the Gripen jet in mock combat, the opponent was a 950 km/h slow snail speed drone that the Gripen was targeting with your fvcking short range A-Darter missile.....fvcking sub standard test.

Now show us the IRIS-T training missile versions used by SAAF to train Gripen jet pilots in air combat against another air force.....or you think Operation Lion Effort will allow you fire live IRIS-T missile armed version with warhead against another country's pilot?

You just a fvcking joker like John Okafor in Nollywood gringringrin

Thanks for admitting that the Soviet Union were giving Cubans military support including deploying more than 20 000 soldiers. Soviet flew Cuban sorties under pretext that they were Cuban pilots. SADF blew Russian made MIGs on air to air combat and if you want that I can give it to you. You seem to know little about the bush war because you don't exercise your objectivity, man you are always partial. Cuba failed to win SA even when they were helped by more than 400 000 Angolan soldiers and 20000 soviet troops, it could not defeat SADF but only held them to a stalemate.

With regard to A darter testing, Denel has special type of fast drones they use as targets. They are very difficult targets to take out and very smaller than a jet. live missile is used to shoot at them. The bottom line is SAAF gripen pilots have experienced the feeling of firing missiles as compared to their Nigerian counterparts who have never shot a missile in their entire military career.

Nope, quote where I admitted all those your lies that cannot be found in authentic war history records. You only fabricated your own false information and typed it in your laptop keyboard.

All I said was that if South Africa dropped nuclear bomb on Cubans in Angola, the Soviet Union will drop ten times more nuclear bombs on South Africa. Same thing will happen if USSR strikes first with nukes on South Africa, the Americans will defend South Africa by dropping nukes on Cuba

CUBA and ANGOLA could have lost the battle if there was no Soviet Union military involvement in the war including soviet arms supply. In that war many Cuban died such that the.body bags which were transported to CUBA were very devastating.

SA has many British born South Africans who served in the colours of SADF.

CUBA could not even dare try to cross the artillery line of SADF built with the best guns G5&6 in the world during then, not even the Soviet would have tried it. The wall was further reinforced with long range SAMs and Air defence guns.

No one, not even America could have crossed that wall.

Because no Nigerian pilot has ever shot down an enemy plane?

The South African SADF 32 battalion primarily consisted of black Angolan soldiers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) led by whites of the “old” RSA Empire officers and NCOs, although there was also a number of officers from countries, especially in its early stages, such as: the United Kingdom, Rhodesia, Portugal, United States, and Italy.
