PS/05 is the most modern pulse doplar Radar on the market....yes it lacks some advantages than AESA(also has a few advantages) but the Gripens tiny RCS makes up for this...also its still better than the PESA Radar most Russian fighters fly with.

Also it's the Gripens software that makes it 4++ Gen.
