Amarabae:Yeah true, the closed drainage reduces if not eliminate garbage&silt deposition in it. Also, drainage construction is meant to be systematic. (Within a city or town) drainages ought to interconnect from one discharge point to the other, such that waste water is effectively channelled away from land to perhaps adjoining artificial reservoir or dams. |

thestevens: Oga you should not be making excuses for the failure of our leaders. Is Lagos or Nigeria the only place where roads are constructed? Do they also have flooding in other cities and countries where they are constructing roads each time that it rains? Again let us stop selling ourselves CHEAP to our leaders. 1 Like 1 Share |

PMWSpirit: Are you alright? Do you want to see a doctor at Yaba left? How can you compare hurricanes with three hours of rain? How do you compare drainage in Texas with the gutters in Lagos? Let me ask you again in Yoruba- se ori e pe dada? Stop being trampled upon by useless politicians who loot our commonwealth. 3 Likes |

Alexrayz: Eko Atlantic is the only place where Ambode is working. The rest of Lagos State can remain a refuse dump with - no drainage, - no clean water, - no electricity, - no public schools etc. Ambode is not bothered since he knows that he will be praised by the suffering and smiling suffer heads who pay their taxes to him directly or indirectly. 2 Likes 1 Share |

python1: What % of Lagos State has good roads, drainage, water, clinics, schools and electricity? Do you think that by showing pictures of bad things in other states the rotten situation in Lagos State after 18 years of Tinubu/Fashola/Ambode will magically CHANGE? Please use your thoughts wisely bro. Wisely. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: 3-Hour Non-Stop Rain Leaves Ifako Roads Heavily Flooded In Lagos by seguno2: 10:30pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
Alexrayz: In theory to some extent. In practice not really. Otherwise Tinubu and Fashola would not have paid $750,000 for Bill Clinton to show up for 30 minuets at the launch apart from other freebies concessions by Lagos State to make it happen. 1 Like |

PMWSpirit: Politicians are responsible for cleaning up the drainage regularly by EMPLOYING people and supervising them. Is that easy enough for you to understand? If not, I can explain further. Please let me know. 1 Like |
