This is very sad. A Nigerian man identified as Ibrahim Adam Mailafiya, who recently bagged a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds, has been unfortunately killed by men of the underworld. According to media reports, Ibrahim was murdered by armed robbers on his way to Kano after his arrival to the country.

May his soul rest in peace.

What has he being killed got to do with him having a PhD? I understand we are trying to draw sympathy and sensationalism but people are killed everyday and has nothing to do with their educational status

He'd just been promoted to HOD computer science department in Nasarawa State University Keffi. His wife just put to birth last month. Now isn't this tragic. FYI he was my lecturer.

I understand your pain but he was not killed becos he had all these degrees but that the system has not done enough in the area of security and protection of lives and property.
