Let me also say that people should not become attached to the figure of 10%. Remember the parable about the woman who gave all that she had and received a greater return from God than the rich man who barely noticed his gift. If you cannot afford to pay 10% of your income, then pay what you can afford and pay it with love. God’s multiplication is not so much related to the outer amount but to the amount of love in your heart.
