My question is;

Since Farida was not happy with the situation of things then, why waiting to be fired by the presidency before stepping down as the EFCC boss?

This is a question form someone who reads with his nose and interprets what read with the eyes.

Why did you have to spoil your insightful post with the mention of OBJ and GEJ championing Nigeria's cause?
The only cause those thieves champion is their pockets and ego.

HoluwarTohbar:

Did you hear anywhere he championed a cause for the betterment of the larger Nigeria? Did he have an NGO that could even cater for his almajiric welfare and proper upbringing? Did he in any public forum both home and abroad champion the cause of Nigeria like OBJ and GEJ are doing currently? OMG! I could go on and on!

Re: "I Am Thankful Jonathan Sacked Me" – Farida Waziri by Babacele: 7:10am On Nov 13, 2017
Nonsense! pot calling kettle black! GEJ should have dealt with this stupid woman under whose watch the corrupt tried to frame Magu in vain; almost assassinated Ribadu when GEJ the then VP prevented their shaming Ribadu at NIPSS graduation in Kuru; protected high profile looters in government and in collaboration with Aondoaka- that 419 attorney general- frustrated the prosecution of all the thieves in government by messing with our judiciary which earned us insults especially from that UK Judge that handled ibori's case. A shameless woman.

You have a Buhari who stopped attending Council of State meetings. He declined to represent Boko haram in the dialogue with the FG after BH named him as a rep. The man is very anti-social, bitter, bigoted and vindictive and very self-opionated . Obj and Gej aren't half as bad!

"Thank God GEJ sacked me as EFCC boss"

That statement stinks on so many levels, it's just self serving.
If you were hampered from doing your work, why didn't you resign?
Tomorrow now Maina would come out and also say he's thanking God he was sacked.
Like someone advised, to all political appointees in this govt, you didn't resign, when you're sacked or PMB is sacked and revelations start pouring out, we don't want to hear stories that touched the heart oooo - of how you were clean, telling the presidency to stop stealing but he refused and you never resigned

You have allowed propaganda of the ALl Poverty Congress, APC to overwhelm you.
Sanusi is a smart crook who only started singing discordant tunes about missing NNPC money that kept changing AFTER he was indicted for looting our CBN.
Please stop allowing yourself to be deceived.
You don't understand what the born-to-rule foolanis would do top keep their grip on power. Southerners are so foolish fighting among themselves with derisive names while the north is solid.

barcanista:
Since I was born, I have never witness the kind of hypocrisy, double standard and demonisation that is currently perpetrated by Muhammadu Buhari, the APC, Alhaji Sanusi, Osinbajo and their "good governance crusaders" against the person of President Goodluck Jonathan, Allison Madekwe, and other government officials.

Alhajis Buhari and Sanusi and APC have been going about using every platform to talk about a "missing $20b", cheered by their hypocritical followers that pride themselves as good governance crusaders. They have deliberately gone blind over the fraud of CBN under Sanusi as outlined by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria report in February 2014.

Sanusi Indicted And Removed For Fraud
According to the report (see below) Sanusi was indicted for Gross Misconduct that bothers on fraud and financial recklessness among other offence. The FRCN subsequently advised Mr President to remove Lamido Sanusi from office for further investigation and probe after the explanation of Sanusi appeared more like a tale and outrightly illogical according to FRCN. The council indicates that the explanation provided by Sanusi is “a clear display of incompetence, nonchalance, fraud, wastefulness, and abuse of due process and deliberate efforts to misrepresent facts on the part of the leadership of the CBN.”

The council advised the President to exercise the powers conferred on him by Section 11(2)(f) of the CBN Act 2007 or invoke Section 11(2)(c) of the said Act “and cause the governor and the deputy governors to cease from holding office in the CBN.”

April 2014: VP-elect Yemi Osibanjo Filed Case To Stop Sanusi Probe
Rather than Sanusi to prove his innocence in court, he filed a case in Federal High Court, Lagos to STOP FRCN and Other Security Agencies from investigating and prosecuting him through three Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, Dr. Kanyinsola Ajayi and Kola Awodien.
http://www.theguardianmobile.com/readNewsItem1.php?nid=24587

13 May 2014: Lagos Judge Tshoho Grants Sanusi Prayers
High Court Judge John Tshoho rather than uphold the constitutional powers of FRCN to investigate probe Sanusi, he granted the prayers of Lamido Sanusi and BARRED FRCN from further investigation or probing Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. In his own words...
“Prejudice is very pronounced in the language of that document. The language of the briefing note (transmitted by the FRCN to the presidency) conveys a sense of the defendant desperately goading the presidency to deal with the plaintiff,”
“The plaintiff submitting himself for investigation (by FRCN) is like the cockroach finding itself in the midst of fowls. Such a cockroach cannot be innocent,”.

http://www.tv360nigeria.com/?p=11923

Despite the fact the President Jonathan commissioned PWC to audit NNPC books to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of Sanusi's claim, Buhari, APC, Sanusi and their online agents that parade themselves as good governance and anticorruption apostles have been crying blue murder but refused to comment on the FRCN report nor the APC's VP elect role in shielding Sanusi for probe.

April 26, 2015: Buhari's Display of Hypocrisy
In his usual hypocrisy, General Buahri vowed to re-visit the $20b allegation but said NOTHING about the FRCN report. In his own word... “Imagine a situation where the former CBN governor who by God ‘s grace would later become the  Emir of Kano raised an  issue of missing billions of money, not in Naira but in Dollars, $20 billion.
“What happened, instead of investigating to know whether it was true that the money was missing or not, they simply found a reason to remove him. So these are the issues we are talking about…"

Contrary to the lies of Alhaji Buhari, Sanusi wasn't removed because he raised alarm, he was removed because he was indicted by FRCN. Jonathan also never kept mute, he commissioned PWC to audit the books. Buhari was also blind to talk about prosecuting Sanusi for the CBN fraud. Perhaps the Emir is as "incorruptible" as him(Buhari)

The FRCN’s report on Sanusi

The decision to suspend the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Sanusi Lamido was based on a report of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria dated June 7, 2013.

The report was made after a review of Sanusi’s response to the query issued to him by the President over the apex bank’s financial statement of 2012. His response was dated May 20, 2013.

According to a copy of the report obtained by our correspondent on Thursday, the council indicates that the explanation provided by the suspended CBN governor is “a clear display of incompetence, nonchalance, fraud, wastefulness, and abuse of due process and deliberate efforts to misrepresent facts on the part of the leadership of the CBN.”

The council advised the President to exercise the powers conferred on him by Section 11(2)(f) of the CBN Act 2007 or invoke Section 11(2)(c) of the said Act “and cause the governor and the deputy governors to cease from holding office in the CBN.”

The report read: The particulars of the infractions against Sanusi are:

Persistent refusal and/or negligence to comply with the Public Procurement Act in the procurement practices of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

(A) By virtue of Section 15 (1)(a) of the Public Procurement Act, the provisions of the Act are expected to comply to ‘all procurement of goods, works and services carried out by the Federal Government of Nigeria and all procurement entities.’ This definition clearly includes the Central Bank of Nigeria.

(B) It is however regrettable that the Central Bank of Nigeria, under his leadership, has refused and/or neglected to comply with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act (PPA). You will recall that one of the primary reasons for the enactment of the PPA was the need to promote transparency, competitiveness, cost of effectiveness and professionalism in the public sector procurement system.

Real capone.
He is the capo di tutti capo of the barawo rats occupying Aso Rock so tey even the wife and pikin don turn wailers by force.

NgcoboP:
..The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has followed the footsteps of her daughter, Zahra, by criticising the management of Aso Rock Clinic.

Zahra Buhari had last week taken to her Instagram page to criticise the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Jalal Arabi, for his inability to provide even Paracetamol tablets to the clinic despite a budget of N3 billion for the provision of drugs to the hospital.

Speaking Monday at a stakeholders meeting on Reproductive, Maternal, Nutrition, Child Advocacy and Health and Nutrition, RMNCAH+N, at the State House, Abuja, Mrs. Buhari said she recently fell ill and was advised to travel to London for treatment, but she refused.

“I called the Aso Clinic to find out if they have an X-Ray machine, they said it’s not working
“In the end I had to go to a hospital owned and operated by foreigners 100 per cent

“There is a budget for the Hospital and if you go there now, you will see a number of constructions going on but they don’t have a single syringe there. What is the purpose of the buildings if there are no equipment there to work with?”

“You can imagine what happens across the states to governors wives if this will happen to me in Abuja,” she said.

The Aso Rock Clinic management said last week it was short of funds for major projects and purchases and would demand the commercialisation of the clinic’s operations for efficiency.

For NOI and Jonathan's record on managing the oil price collapse despite increased minimum wage from N7,500 to N18,000 and oil subsidy that the All Poverty Congress, APC liars prevented from being scrapped, read below.
Please note that was in 2013!!!

FG, States, LGs Share N568.4 Billion for Oct
15 NOVEMBER 2013

Also, $1billion was proposed for distribution to complement shortfall in expected revenue." The $1billion is a compromise by the FG over its words in September not to augment shortfalls anymore.

Responding to the presentation, the chairman of the States Commissioners of Finance and Ebonyi State Commissioner of Finance, Mr Timothy Odaah, lamented that the statutory allocation was getting smaller and smaller. "It appears this is the worst in terms of returns. This is the least in allocations as far as this year is concerned. We are mourning the dearth of funds and this is a wakeup call for states and local governments to buoy up their internally generated revenue."

While appreciating the "magnanimity" of President Goodluck Jonathan to approve the $1billion from the excess crude account and to be shared among the federal, state and local governments, Odaah expressed disappointment with the returns made by the NNPC.

He said that the states had requested for $2bn to complement for the shortfall in revenue but got only $1billion. In September, Odaah and fellow commissioners had walked out of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) when the federal government said that the framework of the 2013 budget was no longer realistic and it won't augment shortfall in revenue. Odaah raised issues with the statutory allocations of previous months.

Minimum wage is still 18k on less income, and this govt has been paying it!

Check ur post, u'll see, all tiers of govt shared 585b in 2013? This is 2017, give me 3times d govt has shared above that, since they took over in 2015! Yet, they've been paying salaries n bailing out states, paying backlogs to contractors, completing abandoned projects, starting up new projects, paying npower, schoo feeding!
All of these at double d exchange rate available then!

We thought Adesina was d pinnacle of agric progress, he has been eclipsed!

There have been no jobs in nigeria, since I was born! The oyibo man, it was, that said we were in a recession, now, he has come to say we've exited!? Why didnt u doubt him d first time?

Jobs have always been hard to come by in our country! The only difference now is; political looters have been finding it difficult to access our treasury, which inturn has reduced their spendthrift tendencies, which inturn has reduced d handouts n elephant projects they generally embarked on!

I av been noticing other countries in africa, kenya, algeria, eygpt, rwanda even ghana!? Nigeria is far behind them in physical development! Compare their rails, power, schools, infrastructures!

We failed before this govt came in, lets see if they can deliver, if not, I would be at d forefront of booting them out, should a viable candidate contest! Just dont tell me that buffoon was better!

Check ur post, u'll see, all tiers of govt shared 585b in 2013? This is 2017, give me 3times d govt has shared above that, since they took over in 2015! Yet, they've been paying salaries n bailing out states, paying backlogs to contractors, completing abandoned projects, starting up new projects!

Go and ask Femi Adesina, your boss how to do image laundering for the dying old soldier in Aso Rock.
Let us see who the real buffoon is.

Previous Govts Initiated ‘Most Of The Things This Administration Is Doing’ – Adesina

A majority of the projects the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on was inherited from previous administrations, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity has said.

Mr Femi Adesina said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s special Independence anniversary programme on Sunday.

“Most of the things this administration is doing – 60 to 70 percent of them – were initiated by previous governments,” he said.

“That shows you that in the past a government will come and say ‘this is not our project’ And it will discard what was being done and start fresh ones.”

As a result, Mr Adesina said there are many half and quarter-completed abandoned projects.
But rather than abandon the project, he explained that the current administration will complete it.

An example is the Abuja-Kaduna rail project which the Presidential aide said was up to maybe 60 to 70 percent complete when the last administration left.

“This administration came, completed it and inaugurated it. Then you will still find some people shouting, ‘they are claiming credit for what the past administration started,” he said.

“It shows there is a mentality in Nigeria that makes governments not want to complete what previous governments have started. But this administration is not going that way at all, it is just doing what needs to be done for the good of the country.”

Another example is the Mambilla power project, which has been in the works since 1972, but has now started taking shape under this administration.

In going about its activities, Mr Adesina said the Federal Government follows due process in the awarding of contracts, stressing that projects worth above N50m will require the permission of the Federal Executive Council before such a contract can be awarded.

“One thing this government does scrupulously is to follow due process in the award of all these contracts and projects.

“Anything that is above N50m must come to the Federal Executive Council. Before the FEC will endorse any project or contract, the Bureau of Public Procurement must have signed off on that project that it is worthy to be done and the projections are good, that this government does not joke about.”

So far, d dying soldier is yet to disappoint, as greatly has d buffoon did! In two years, with less funds, he has dusted d nincompoop!

Less funds?
Dusted?
Those words seem to have taken on a new meaning with you.

Why is no one asking why we are in recession despite budgets as follows:

2015 - N4.5 trillion
2015 - N2.1 trillion supplementary requested / N575 billion approved
2016 - N6.06 trillion
2017 - N7.3 trillion
