Nigerians took turn to console the Senate President as he remembers his father who died exactly 5 years today. May God give the family the heart to recover from the loss of a true leader. In 1977, Olusola Saraki was elected as a member of the Constituent Assembly that produced the 1979 constitution. In 1979 he was elected a Senator of the Second Republic, and became Senate Leader. Not many Nigerians know that Olushola Saraki was the chairman of the senate committee that investigated the over $2.8m missing petro dollar and found Buhari culpable. Years later the same Buhari was baptised as a saint to fight kwaruption and two years down the line ,the results are obvious. |
