Hello Nairalanders, pls i need your help. My Rover car does serious overheating. I contacted a mechanic and was told my radiator is a single cell that i would need to change the radiator to a 3 cell since my engine is V6. The water pump is functioning properly,but it stil overheats What do you guys think could possibly be wrong?

if u dont mind, i can recommend a guy to u, my Rover 75 was doing serious overheating when i first bought it late last year, i had been given lots of different ideas on wht to do but a friend took me to dis mechanic in Oshodi, all the guy did was just to adjust d thermostat. At 1st, i dint beleive d guy bicos i had heard lots of thing on wht cud be d problem of d car overheating, n i was ready to spend any amount on d car. But to my surprise, dis guy did not request more dan 3k after he finished d job. and since den i had been cruising my car all over d places without any problem.

before you start taking the car from mechanic to mechanic, please put a raditor coolant and see if that solves it.

So you drive a Rover 75,this car looks very prestigious but i have so many people complain about this car.Do u enjoy driving it/and is the car very good on Nigerian roads/ iwant your candid response .How long have u been using it?is it expensive to maintain,cos am interested in buying it .many thanks
