This is post is about how to recharge your over-scratched or missing-pin MTN logical voucher without taking it to the MTN office or do away with it due to frustration. Before now, if you over scratched your card, you either call 180 which might not even be available at instant or you move to the nearby MTN office.

Now, you can can recharge your accounts on the IVR by following the steps below without speaking to a customer care representative.
Firstly, simply dial 180/181
Press 9 to go to the main menu
Press 1 for account information
Press 2 for recharge
Press 1 to recharge account
You will be directed to press 1 to confirm recharge on the calling MSISDN
You will admonished to enter the sixteen (16) digit PIN of the card he wants to load
If the PIN is available and correct, then the card will be loaded into your account

As far as I’m concerned, calling 180 is stress. Just get the mtn app and you’re good to go.

I had to read the message thrice, still didn't get it. How do you input a complete 16-digit pin from an overscratched card?

BTW, you will be directed to first enter the card serial number, then you will be asked to enter the pin of the card replacing the numbers you can't see with *,. After entering the pin press #. Your line will be recharged.
