@GISTMORE

Twitter user @lifeofmohammed shared a photo showing how students of Kings College were being punished on November 18th within the school premises. Shouldn't corporal punishment be banned in public schools? The twitter user wrote;

He wrote;

"What will I call this? Boarders ain't prisoners smh. This is happening at Kings College Vi Annex."

I see no punishment in there.
You can see that all are in a relaxed mood.

If u see punishment.... Hmm, even u will include 'graphic warning'.

I see about 3-4 different uniforms in just a pic, why is that?

Hyde J and Pane's boys with Mckee and Harman's boys controlling.

Those boys aren't being punished, they are preparing for punishment. Those standing in the midst of the semicircle are the seniors who are giving them instructions.

This is barbaric in our 21st century. Top private schools would not adopt this form of discipline. #ajebutter lifestyle is the best

The Nigeria government need to do more to discourage the indiscriminate punishment of our young lads, the government must take a position on this. Flogging has never been a result oriented tool. We need good counsellors in school to monitor the growth of our children.
