Courts don't even recognize baby mamas.. you can't sue him for it when you can't provide documents that you two were legally married.

It’s a standardised way of getting parents (mostly men since children tend to stay with their mothers) to take financial responsibility of their children. I don’t think it’s a scam per se but I do think some people take advantage e.g. using the money on things that have nothing to do with the child instead

The courts should open accounts for such where both the man and the lady will be required to pay into.

like if it's 9million then both of them should be ordered to pay the money equally in the presence of everyone in the court..

Plus court systems weigh these things up, take into account the salary of both parents, the living standard the child is used to etc and then come to a decision. The system isn’t perfect unfortunately and people take advantage but it’s a necessary ‘evil’ in my opinion.
