My husband is proudly Ikwerre and just for the the record he, his father, his mother, his sisters and brothers are the hardest working people I know. Laziness is not a part of their vocabulary. I am also fed up of always, but always having to explain to especially the igbo, that the ikwerre is not an igbo. He has his own distinct culture. Surely they have a right to say who they are and who they are not. I agree with some of the other posters, does it really matter if the ikwerre wants to be part and parcel of another ethnic group? Re-read the part I wrote in Ikwerre and respond in Ikwerre so that we can communicate in Ikwerre. That's the only way I can be sure you can speak on behalf of Ikwerre. What you wrote is that you are married to Ikwerre, so that means you might not even know much if you are not paternally or maternally Ikwerre.
