A man identified as Manko Abubakar, an electronic repair man with shop beside old Bomas Supermarket in Minna, Niger state - was allegedly hit by the police on his head with a stick during a fracas on Thursday.

According to reports, the man heard people making noise outside his house which is very close to his shop. As he made an effort to open the door, a policeman allegedly hit him on the head with a big stick and soon gun shots were fired into his house which luckily passed through the door and hit the ceiling.

The Police were said to have gone to the area to stop a fight which happened near Obasanjo complex before the victim's alleged attack...

The victim's case is being handled by Barrister Mahmud Dlaw who has promised to get the end of the matter.

Proscribe this useless and most corrupt institution called Nigeria Police Force and replace it with something more civil and people oriented.

This institution is a product of British colonialist and does not reflect the contemporary Nigerian society.
Illiterates, touts and hardened criminals infest the rank and file of the force thereby making it counter productive.

Police and mumu actions are like 5 & 6.

Why did police break the man's head? Is it Abubakar's head that led to the fight happening close to his house?

Thank God the bullets didn't hit him.
