Who is the contractor? Another backyard crony firm? ANSG has a tendency of inflating projects and handing them to mediocre firms. RCC is constructing Umunya to Amawbia. Go and look at the difference with IDC road work from Amawbia to Ifite Awka.

ANSG should prioritize projects and build them properly. An airport road of 22 billion? You haven't even built the runway of the airport. I smell corruption.

As for the conference center, the contractor has no expertise which is why they are battling with the design. Besides, information on the firm is usually public information but in this case nobody knows. I smell corruption.

ANSMEDIA:

Stop misinforming the people with your lies here. It is not 4km road. It is just one of the 3 dual carriageway roads that is 4km. Airport roads are 3 in directions dual carriageways. They are, the one that runs from the airport to Onitsha-Awka Express, another at Nsugbe-Aguleri and lastly another at Nteje-Igbariam. Listen to the video below from 7th minute and hear from the governor as he explains the 3-nos dual carriageways to the airport.

Stop giving yourself unnecessary headache about anything that concerns the airport project. The project cannot be halted because a lone voice is on nairaland crying wolf

Anambra needs an international airport like yesterday and our governor is building it and we applaud him.

Onitsha-Awka highway is seriously under reconstruction by FG, inner and outer streets and roads of Onitsha and Awka are being reconstructed heavily, the worldclass ICC in Awka is being handled by a foreign firm that did Golden Tulip Agulu lake resort. Awka flyovers are beautiful and well built by IDC.

Some persons have warned you here to stop crying about the ongoing airport project because it is as good as a done deal. The states that have airports didn't do all those things you mentioned before having their airports but Anambra is doing all of them and still doing the airport project.

Please stop spewing nonsense. The airport road is not 22b. Read my first post, there are 3 airport roads, it is not just one as you said. Listen to the video.

Again IDC did a nice job even as an indigenous contractor on works they did in Awka. ICC Awka will be the best in Nigeria when completed.

You know nothing about the ICC project. It is the same contractor that did Golden Tulip Agulu Resort that are doing the ICC at Awka.

Your mind is very dirty and bitter, please stop bringing your bad energy here.

Stop lying Mr serial liar. The contract amount for the airport road is 22b. Whether it is 1 or 3 it is still the same thing. Road that leads to an airport that has not been.built.

About IDC, which nice job did they do? Ramps that trailers and Lorries cannot climb on? An expressway that is not properly aligned? You only fool ignorant people like yourself. IDC is nobody outside Anambra. Serious states are using RCC and Arab Contractors, Anambra is using an unknown company

As for Agulu Lake building a hotel is not the same as building a conference center. Time will expose your lies.

You are a lying bitter fellow, I am not even the first to notice it here. The airport road contract is not 22b. Get us government report or contract paper where it is stated and not that rubbish blog you posted up there and expect us to assimilate it. Initially you said it was just 4km road that is 22b, I showed you even video clip where the governor stated that there are 3nos airport roads and not one.

The FLYOVERS were barricaded for orderliness and not because of being defective. We have seen where trailers start rolling back or falling off FLYOVERS. We have seen that alot in Lagos. That was what Obiano tried to avoid. That is proactive government initiative.

IDC is an indigenous company, whether it is known in Kano or Sokoto, it doesn't change anything .

Any contractor that could do such a nice and beautiful hotel in Agulu could do any project. Engineering/construction company can do any project within their purview.

Julius Berger can do bridge, road as well as building projects. Would you say because they are known for just roads and bridges, thereby they cannot do building projects like they are doing all over Nigeria.

Take your bitter and dirty self away from here. You are a very bad energy that shouldn't be close to normal people.

If there is anything I am bitter about it is discussing important projects with hungry unintelligent mouthpiece like you employed by ANSG to feed the public lies.

Every known project has a contractor and the project sum is open information except when dodgy governments like Anambra and Imo come with backyard contractors like Paul B, IDC and Roche Construction.

About orderliness trailers climb the flyovers at Onitsha built more than 25 years ago, they climb New Parts Tarzan because they were not built by quacks. But for those Awka ramps it cannot support trailers and tankers because they were hurriedly assembled from laterite earth and then rammed together by concrete walls. Since you clearly lack engineering knowledge let me spell it out to you. The incline plus the laterite base of those ramps means they are not strong enough to handle heavy duty vehicles without putting an enormous pressure downwards and outwards that caused cracks in the walls.

Obiano is not an engineer and it shows. His appointtees and advisors have hoodwinked him with expensive unstable flyovers, a conference center built on a swamp by an inexperienced contractor and a white elephant airport project.

Umahi is an engineer and just travel to Abakaliki and see the difference. Wike is not an engineer but he knows who to hire in Rivers State.

But continue lying on this forum. Time will tell.

You are such a cursed nauseating bag of shit. Everyone on this board knows that you are such a cursed fellow.

Anambra state government is doing very well in all sectors. Obiano is the best governor in SE, and if you think there's a better state out there then move to that place and become the indigene.

Anambra is a model state in the SE and that's why the whole of SE moves to live and work in Anambra as their greener pasture. For instance there are more Ebonyi people living in Anambra than Ebonyi people living in Ebonyi today. That is the power of good governance in Anambra.

The flyovers built in Awka are beautiful as well as they are solid structurally. The barricades are for order and sanity. ICC being built in Awka is equally gonna be one of the best in Nigeria.

Anambra international airport is equally gonna be the busiest in Nigeria after Lagos, Abuja and PH.

Anambra is the best.

If you are bitter and angry look for the nearest transformer

This is a flyover in Asaba in an oil rich Delta state. They actually copied this from what ANSG did in Awka to create order and sanity. Delta state government didn't put this baricade as shown below because their flyover was defective. Idiotic mktinsight should take note.

Anambra international airport runway ongoing construction. It is a 3.8 runway that will accommodate biggest jumbo jet that has been built. For anyone that's still crying wolf about the airport project should quit crying because we can't listen to enemies that doesn't want good things for us. Work is ongoing at site night and day to meet the schedule.

This is Anambra state thread not Abakaliki thread. You can go and create Abakaliki thread and be dropping your suggestion.

Everyday you will sneak in here and be crying like a small child.

To my understanding, all he meant was that we require better contractors to handle project of the state instead of thriving firms. And the project done by the thriving firms are sub-standards which in a long time is a waste. But you could have reply with maturity instead of anger, Sir. Even the bible recorded that a father who loves his son points out the wrong which he'd done. So leave everyone to their view, Sir.

No sir, we know these people, go through his posts you will notice he has never commended anything done by this govt, only criticisms.. Even if this govt uses Julius Berger he will still find something to criticise. He is complaining about the barricade on the flyovers, remove the barricades and let one of these trailers fall from the flyovers, he would still complain.. We know constructive criticisms when we see it not these enemies of progress..
He is telling us to go copy the low budget flyovers in Abakaliki, guess what, IF Obiano did the flyovers in Abakaliki and Umahi did the Awka ones, these same characters will tell you umahi did wonders.. Its hate, they dont mean well.
