Yyeske: That's the difference between those who are ethically minded and those who just don't care about the rights of other people. SPYDER88 posts A LOT of pictures, but he ALWAYS has the courtesy to hide or blackout the faces of people in his pictures to respect their right to privacy. 2 Likes |

NYSC PERMANENT ORIENTATION CAMP, Mbaukwu to be ready soon. On the instance of his Excellency, Chief Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano's instructions, his Youthfulness, Bonaventure Enemali, Honourable Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy paid a working visit to the ongoing NYSC permanent orientation camp situated at Mbaukwu on Friday, the first day of June 2018, to ascertain the level of work done and address every issue that might hinder the speedy completion of the project. The permanent orientation camp when completed will stand out as the best orientation camp in the country. The traditional ruler of Mbaukwu, HRH Igwe P.N Anugwu JP. was on ground to give the commissioner a tour of the facility (a royal one). The facility houses a 4400 capacity multipurpose hall, staff offices and quarters, an ultramodern clinic and sickbay, 4 gigantic dormitories that could house a thousand each, a football pitch and massive expanse of land for a thorough orientation experience. The commissioner was accompanied by the permanent secretary, ministry of Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, directors of Youth and finance, among others. |

Hero Brewers Embark On Campaign Against Environmental Pollution 06 JUNE 2018 WRITTEN BY OGOCHUKWU ORANU In celebration of World Environmental Day, ABINBEV Onitsha Plant, makers of Hero Beer,has joined their Parent Company and United Nations to embark on a campaign against environmental degradation and pollution. Some of the workers in the Hero Brewery, Onitsha led by Mr. Ambrose Umodum Environmental Manager and Mr. Lawrence Nzekwe, Safety Manager of the company went through the streets of industrial Harbour layout, Upper Iweka, Bridge Head Market and Ogbo Abada sensitizing people on the need to dispose their waste properly especially plastic waste which was identified as harmful to the environmental and should be recycled rather than dumped into drainage channels. In an interview, Mr. Ambrose Umodum said the Brewery is passionate about the environment, hence the decision to take the campaign to the grass root, adding that they have mapped out strategies to sustain the action. The sensitization was earlier preceded by a brief lecture with the theme "Beat plastic pollution", at the ABINBEV office, Onitsha. The public Affairs Manager, Mr. Chuma Umunna , Mr. Ambrose Umodum the Environmental Manager as well as Mrs. Cynthia spoke on plastic pollution and how to manage plastic waste generated from homes as according to them, plastic do not decompose rather they are recycled. They also spoke on smart Agriculture Water stewardship , circular packaging and climate action which are all geared towards achieving a healthy environment. |
