what about the Obosi interchange leaf? I haven't seen it for a while online. We Well need third bridge when Obi becomes president I believe him. Because that place will be an economic and Industrial hub. Peter Okwute can do it. He's from there. That's the privilege of having a president from fromnthe east. If you doubt it then visit Daura that was once a desert. Bubu is working all his states and northern states faster even before stepping down as he has paid construction firm's ahead of 2025 noting will stop it. If Peter Obi like he should be doing Prudent man to be called a better President . Ask Jonathan you can't please the North.

Look like people will still be walking under the bride too.. like a huge lite walkway tunnel.. let me tell us something here, they're playing politics with Onitsha Port. It's only when a determined igbo man that has igbo's at heart becomes president you will know this river Niger will carry the largest ocean fright in the world. Leave what they told you that you are landlocked. We dont need an ocean just look at those pictures. Modern ships are now modern to float even on a lake because of it surface displaced large tons of water, like old ones it tail and fan will need thousand nautical miles dept to sail.

obi will concentrate effort in bringing
standard rail line to all Southeast , gas pipeline to east, open up seaports and rivers ports in east and finally massive industrial shift to South East. Not 3rd Niger bridge

I agree with you. I pray he don't start being too prudent to please the north and not mapping out billions to do this as quick as possible. He needed to even handover power to another igboman to complete our 16yrs power because 8yrs is not enough. Other regions has produced more than that.

Bro you don't admire any positive energy from the Ebonyi Governor. You're simply hating and wishing that Ebonyi State and it's people remain backward to your amusement. You're looking for who to laugh at, right? Ebonyi have disappointed you this time! Oh, the state you admire it's Governor should remain educationally disadvantaged without infrastructures so that you'd find something to compare to the north? Bro you and your people are actually the ones suffering from inferiority complex. Why always comparing yourselves with others if indeed you're secured and not feel threatened by other people's progress? You never see anything good in others except when it's coming from your people. Don't worry very soon you'll start comparing yourselves with God. We're happy over here in Ebonyi, making progress in our own pace without hating on anyone. Thanks for your concerns about our empty roads filled with flyovers without vehicles to ply them but we never begged you for those cars

It's not about building high raised control tower or large terminals. I hope the airport can generate enough traffic to offset its cost. If not, it's nothing but a white elephant project, considering the cost of fuel for airliners and the high poverty index of Ebonyians.

As rich as Akwa Ibom is, Godswill Akpabio built a modest terminal for the Victor Attah International Airport back in 2010, to test the aviation prospect of that state. Gov. Emmanuel Udom as of today is building one of Africa's largest and first smart airport terminal in Nigeria as of press time ( speak of finanicial wisdom)

Ebonyi state Government should stop chasing shadows with white elephant projects in order to wash off their inferority complex. Ebonyi state still remains the only ELDS (Educational Less Developed State) in the South East, with Unity School cutoff mark comparable to that of Borno, Katsina and Sokoto. In as much as I admire their governor's positive energy, why not invest these funds in primary and tertiary education, rather than constructing flyovers in junctions which donot even have any vehicular traffic. Onye ka mmadu ka mmadu. If you like make noise from today to tomorrow.

You and the 10 idiots who liked your post are the correct Anambra supremacists and people suffering from superiority complex ( which is even worse ), while you accuse others of inferiority complex.

Na Dave Umahi fit una well well.

Check the news. Ebonyi state will NOT go for Peter Obi. We will stick to Tinubu and APC and reap the dividends of aligning to the center, as we had done with Buhari which propelled our state further forward as all and sundry can see today.

The Airport will be finer than Anambra airport and will pull crowd from Enugu, your hate never even start. Make he finish am.

PARTNERING GOVERNOR SOLUDO'S VISION FOR CLEAN ANAMBRA

( ABS Commentary Unit )

A critical survey across Anambra State shows that the state is facing serious environmental health and climatic challenges. One of the challenges facing the Anambra environment is man-made problem. Indiscriminate dumping of waste across the cities and communities in the state with the attendant problems of air pollution, infections, flooding, erosion and negative impact on the aesthetic view of the state.

People from Anambra are known for cleanliness. It is one of the core values which needs urgent revival before nature begins to take its toll on the residents of the state.

The new administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo hit the ground running by embarking on massive waste evacuation exercise at Okpoko in Onitsha and environs and is still rolling out plans to build clean, green and planned cities, communities and markets in the state.

One of the plans is the ban on open and public deposit of waste and the government's plan embark on house-to-house collection of wastes. It is also mapping out severe sanctions for those who go against the laws guiding waste disposal in Anambra State.

Residents of the state must therefore make conscious efforts to protect their environment from further degradation not just to avoid sanctions from government but because a healthy environment makes a healthy people. Government cannot do it alone. It is a collective responsibility. All concerned must pull resources and forces together in order to protect and preserve the environment. Every resident of the state must stop indiscriminate dumping of waste and as ensure that people around them follow suit. We must stop the attitude of throwing away empty cans or bottles, and wrappings from the window of vehicles. Ensure to make use of designated waste receptacles or dumpsites for waste disposals. We cannot claim to be a religious people while we live in a filthy environment, afterall, God and nature abhor uncleanliness. In the book of Exodus chapter nineteen verse ten, and several other chapters of the Bible, God gave His children charge for bodily and environmental cleanliness.

It gladdens the heart to see that some individuals, markets and communities have heeded Governor Soludo's call to embark on practical actions for cleaner, greener, planned and sustainable cities.

However, there is urgent need for every resident of the state to key into the environmental protection exercise and as well have a positive change of attitude towards the environment.

We must say no to indiscriminate dumping of refuse on the roads, streets, markets and other surroundings.

People who have no regard for their surroundings, their future is under serious threat because we have only one earth and one Anambra.

Anambra State Govt Restores Peace Among Factions In Nkwelle Ezunaka Community, Oyi Council Area

Anambra State Government has restored peace among the warring factions in Nkwelle Ezunaka community, Oyi Council Area, after over eight years of communal dispute.

The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr Collins Nwabunwanne, who brokered the peace during a reconciliatory meeting with the warring parties in his office at Government House, Awka, explained that Governor Soludo is passionate about promoting peace, development and progress in communities.

Commissioner Nwabunwanne reminded them of the need for peaceful coexistence as no meaningful development will take place in an atmosphere of bitterness and rancour.

He said the elected executive would pilot the affairs of the town for six months, that is from now till December in line with the court ruling before another election will be conducted to produce another executive and will also work with state government to produce a traditional ruler for the community.

The President-General of Nkwelle Ezunaka, Mr Leonard Areh-Onyenze, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to Governor Soludo and Commissioner Nwabunwanne, for being able to effect the reconciliation after many years of squabbles.

Some of the members of the executive present at the meeting including Chief Willie Okafor, Engr Dike Ndulu, Sir Everistus Nwachiemelu, Chief Chidozie Dibor and Chief James Odife in their separate reactions, promised that the factions will sheath their swords to pave way for a new election in December 2022, according to the dictates of Nkwelle Ezunaka constitution.

The guy said the fact. Ebonyi people are illiterates and miscreants. You people aren't igbos, because you ebonyi people are more related to chadians than being igbos.

Stop measuring your short dlck with Anambra. Anambra remains the America and greener pasture for millions of ebonyi people.

You people shouldn't start, before Anambra people will descend on you people in Anambra and send you miscreants back to your backward state.

Nah bro. This isn't right. The jobs should have been made open to Everybody. Look at Lagos for example, many igbos are government teachers there. It wouldn't be a good thing if Lagos had made these teaching jobs for their indigenes only. The anambra teaching Jobs should be for everyone as far as you are living in Anambra state.

Contrary to what was stated, I noticed many full Yoruba names (with surnames) on the list. If those names were there, then there's a high chance lots of non-indigene names were also there.

The statement said "most Anambra indigenes."
