Abeg if you're a southern and your tribe is not mentioned, it means you've got to pitch tenth with either. I don't even know were to group the "middlebelters", though if united by whatever concept, other than tribe and religion forms a formidable bloc in Nigeria's politics. The leadership of the pre independent Yoruba Nation thought of education as a liberation force of the mind, while the Igbo's, my dear people, are motivated by the discrimination of the poor( notwithstanding the fact that its a universal concept)

The Northern moslem oligarchy( devoid of the brain washed multitude's) has enslaved us all, leaving the free thinkers to wallow in self doubt.

Drops the mic n' walks majestically even after the e-lords arrives.

Don't mind them, a large chunk of Chibok people have migrated to other places, when the whole Bokoharam dust settles, you'll hear emir of Chibok. Numan is under siege now, and a chunk of Barikin Ladi now belongs to the Fulani. While the so called better south are busy giving themselves mouth action. At this rate we'll soon be paying homage to emir of Warri, emir of Eleme and emir of Bonny Kingdom.

The Igbos don't know what they want from The Yorubas. The Yorubas are sceptical about this character.
Apart from Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa, all others are Satellites of these three. The Fulanis are invading immigrants.

OK. my honest opinion

the major accusation the typical ibo man has against Yorubas is that we always betray them.

As Yorubas we watch out for ourselves first. its not a bad thing to do as far as I'm concerned. for example

-during the civil war of Yoruba had tried to secede the war would have shifted automatically from the south east and the battle ground will be 70% within the southwest since Yorubas are all around the capital. so was it a wise thing that Yorubas refused to secede in 1967? yes!!! Awo made the right decision. self preservation is not greed or betrayal. the ibos would have done the same if the capital was in their region.

-2011 we voted Jonathan as president and voted APC governors yet the ibos still felt offended. why? the same PDP that won the Presidential election in the south west decided to marginalise Yorubas. some Yoruba elders went to meet Jonathan about it and this is the reaction of the ibos on naira land about it

https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan

so after we voted Jonathan and we were marginalised in appointments, he failed to deliver lag-ib expressway and other notable projects (note that Jonathan only completed Benin ore and established FUOYE in 6 too years!!!). how do you expect us to still vote a man that didn't perform up to expectations? yes we voted APC in 2015. how's that betrayal? was there an agreement between us to always vote the same person? ibos shouldn't be offended we exercised our right the way we want. every individual has the right to vote whoever they want. in fact Jonathan got 1.8m votes in the south west and buhari got 2.1m. just a difference of 300k.

so how exactly have we betrayed ibos?
the ibos tend to expect too much from us and they get angry when we don't deliver

my former boss from Benue state used to say if the Yorubas and ibos can unite, the north will tremble!!!

Wahahi bro! If Igbo's and the Yoruba nation can unite, then Nigeria will see great progress. Even in this era of mutual suspicion, you can still witness a healthy rivalry devoid of bloodshed.
