Jaideyone: yes and Catalan also sends a team to the world cup clown. if you want Biafra tell your senators and HORs to raise the motion. stop blaming others for your misfortunes. you won't get biafla by blaming afonja and aboki I thought clownish Nigerians are limited to Oshodi, Lagos State. Which rock hibernated you all this time? Only a fool in your cadre will expect a Nigerian official to tender a motion on Biafra. |

Nigerian official my ass. are you even educated to begin with? your senators and honorables are there to represent your people. they are there to tell other Nigerians what you want. why are they there when they can't tell my senator that you are serious about getting your Biafra? if you senators don't move the motion for biafran independence is it the afonja senator that will do that for you? long story short. Catalans and Scots elected lawmakers that want secession. ibos should start by electing those that will push for Biafra in 2019. start making the move instead of insulting Yorubas like we are responsible for your failure you have to liberate yourself instead of waiting or insulting others cos you want to go 15 Likes 2 Shares |

The problem with some Yorubas is nothing but Shallowness. To them Nigeria started in 1999, fourth republic. But if you ask them where SW was before the fourth republic most of them will open their mouth staring at you.
Pre Republican era First and only Governor General (Nnamdi Azikiwe) First Speaker (Jaja Nwachukwu, Present day, Abia) First President of the Senate (Nnamdi Azikiwe)
First Republic First President (Nnamdi Azikiwe) First President of the Senate (Nwafor Orizu) First Acting President (Nwafor Orizu) First Foreign Minister (Jaja Nwachukwu) First GOC, NA (Aguiyi Ironsi)
Military Era First Military Head of State (Aguiyi Ironsi)
Second Republic First Vice President (Alex Ekwueme) First Speaker (Ume Ezeoke)
Third Republic We already know what happened here.
Abiola a wealthy Yoruba Muslim ran for President on the platform of SDP. He won a decisive victory to become the first and only Southerner to defeat a Northern overwhelming in the North.
Second republic Governors took office on January, 1993, while IBB postponed the Presidential election to June 12. Which he eventually won decisively.
According to New York Times (1993) "Many Yoruba have long resented the domination of Nigeria's political life by the mostly northern Hausa-Falani ethnic group, and were ecstatic when one of their own, Mr. Abiola, appeared to have won the recent balloting," but 11 days later, he annulled the election.
11 days again, on July 4, 1993, General Babangida took Chief Abiola and family into confidence. He told them point blank, 'they' (North) will kill you (MKO) rather than allow you to become the elected President, Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria'. https://m.thenigerianvoice.com/news/53716/1/the-secret-behind-the-annulment-of-june-12-amp-wha.html
In 1994, he declared himself President and was imprisoned for 4 years in solitary confinement.
On the day was due to be released, on the 7th July 1998, he died of natural cause after agreeing to renounce his mandate upon learning that the world has abandoned him, telling him they won't recognize a 5 year old election.
The government of Ernest Shonekan that took over from IBB was dismantled within 3 months by the same power that doesn't want Abiola as President. Failing to consolidate his power within 3 months, his government was dismantled with just 40 soldiers.
Announcing his Cabinet list, Shonekan became the First Civilian Head of State to alienate Ndi Igbo from government, giving Ndi Igbo 4 out of 31 Cabinet appointments.

Jaideyone: first point
the typical IBO man will never take responsibility for anything.
yes the north is very backward (in education and other indices) but the south is the major reason Nigeria has a bad image abroad. if any Nigerian commits a crime abroad, it will be a southerner 9 out of 10 times!!! yes!!!
if it's fraud in the UK I can always guess it's a Yoruba man.
if it's prostitution then it is definitely an Edo person.
if it's drugs then it's definitely an ibo man.
yet we all blame the north for the bad image of the country when the south is solely responsible for our crimes abroad!!!
it's time for us all to fvcking accept we ruined this country collectively. then we can have a round table discussion where those that want to leave can do so and those that want to stay and make it work can do so. I am an Igbo man and i agree with you on this. 3 Likes 1 Share |

SouthEastFacts:
Oga, Awolowo was plotting Coup with Ghanaian authorities to overthrow the Government of Azikiwe/Balewa when he was arrested. He was prison when 1965 coup was carried out. The purpose was to install him as Prime Minister which Ironsi refused. Nzeogwu led the coup and Adewale a Yoruba man was second in command. Ojukwu and Ironsi an Igbo men fought the coup.
If that coup was an Igbo coup why was Ojukwu and Ironsi the two highest ranking Igbo officers not informed.
Awo destroyed this country. I didn't said it the North did. https://www.naija.ng/697044-must-read-tanko-yakassai-reveals-battle-awolowo-akintola-led-1966-coup.html

Don't forget what Balaraba Musa said," the Yoruba political leadership, as mentioned has shown itself over the years to be incapable of rising above narrow tribal interests". Responding to Balarabe Musa, has the Arewa political leadership itself even ever made any attempt to project a facade of national interest over tribal interest it has embraced and that is not hidden since the onset of National politics in pre-independent Nigeria? Responding to you, you claim Adewale Ademoyega was deputy to Nzeogwu for the coup of January 1966, yet he never led any of the other teams that were different to the one led by Nzeogwu himself? Rather, he was just a member of the other strike teams but not at the head of any like Nzeogwu, or Ifeajuna, or Onwuatuegu or Okafor or Nwobosi who all lead teams that executed the assassinations in the North and West. Yet you still have the nerve to propagate lies that have no factual backing about Ademoyega who was just a member of the leading ring of Majors who planned the coup, but was cunningly not put in any authority that would jeopardize the hidden Igbo script that was unknown to a Yoruba man who thought his compatriots were interested in a true national revolution? Lastly, I already warned you when you posted this same OP on the other thread. You have managed to unravel the lies that your fellow Igbos had perfected over decades of deceitful wailings of political marginalization. You have reinforced the assertion of us who were never deceived, and who insisted that the Igbos were always in bed with the same Northerners they want the rest of the South to hate. The Igbos have contributed to the problems of Nigeria from the onset, having held offices that could have served the nation better. Thank you for this expose, it will be duly filed for posterity and reference sake. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Jaideyone: thank you o. we are not the ones crying marginalisation all the time. when we felt marginalised (2011-2015) we protested with our vote during the next election like civilised individuals.
we didn't shout odua or death we didn't insult other ethnic groups like ipob did we didn't threaten to burn down the country Everyone does what works for them. Remember NADECO riots and protests. Don't forget militancy and kidnapping in the creek. Recall Boko Haram. It appears the end justifies the means. |

So it wasn't really about one Phantom utopian biafra? So what were you seeking? Considering all the posts, listed by the op that you've occupied in this same zoo you now loathe? Why couldn't your dominance of the political space according to the op translate into 2nd Niger bridge or a seaport that you're now hating on yoruba? Were your leaders jazzed? 8 Likes 2 Shares |

what is this one saying? opinions like this will make people question your primary school certificate. boko haram is an Islamic terror group not for any northern agenda. the northerners are the number one casualty of boko haram. Niger Delta militants fought the government over the degradation of their environments without development and their fight wasn't targeted at any ethnic group. NADECO was a fight for democracy. a fight against tyranny and injustice and annulment of a free and fair election. how will a sane educated individual compare all the above to genocide instigating radio broadcasts and hate speech targeted at other ethnic groups for no just reason like IPOB did? 8 Likes 1 Share |

It's too early to claim victory in the middle of a match. Our people say, "Agbacha oso, a gua miles." After the race, we count the miles. At the present, no one has won in the Nigeria project/game, that's why there is distrust and fear among the players. So in the end everyone does what promotes their interest. |

What I find most regrettable about the NADECO protests was how the yorubas claimed the June 12 struggle as their own instead of a Nigerian struggle. Now everybody is wiser to the wayo 1 Like |

When I read from you, the only thing I sense is your fear, which you try to mask with hypocrisy. I just shake my head and soldier on. You can continue deceiving yourself. But Nigeria is in a state of flux, all the actors are playing different cards and attributing various reasons. Smart guys know to read between the lines. |
