That was a bad year for private talks....all those persons should be blocked.....and in this new year... you should be verrrry selective in choosing who to speak to.... even if it's one person for the rest of your life the year...and without a doubt..that person should be ....do I have to say?
Lol, go on.

Lol. I love weaves because I get them done easier and faster but I'm done using those ones sef except wigs in case of necessity.
Just make a wig cap out of it, it's gonna be more useful that way. Going to do that with all my weaves too.
What about heat? And you know there's always that fear of it sliding out of place or being pulled off/falling off

Lol. I make sure the hair beneath is well plaited. Once the heat becomes unbearable, I pull it off myself.

If the hair is neat then there's no need to hide it. Its like having perfect dentition and wearing false teeth over it. There's absolutely no need

I'm on the petite side, some clothes and situations call for it. Not necessarily hiding it, more of alternating the looks. Lol

That makes sense then. Some girls feel exposed without weave on and frankly I have a feeling they think they look hideous without it. Artificial hair only enhances beauty when it fits, more often than not it makes the girl look funny, especially the colored ones. Its a vicious cycle, girls have perfectly good hair then start doing hairstyles that pull out the hair follicles from the roots, become bald in front then can't do without weave on. If you see some girls with their natural hair you'll run for the hills. That's why I always advise young girls with lush natural hair to maintain it, instead of choking it under synthetic 'straw'

Lol. Y'all just see these things in the bad light. Yeah, we feel exposed for real but not really for the wrong reasons. I know there are girls that mostly go on weaves and wigs for the same reason as me, some of us look extremely young and small with the natural styles which could be good but the negative sides can't be overlooked. I can't count the number of times I've been asked of my class by strangers who think I'm still in secondary school. Lol, you can imagine having to answer that question always, it's a bit awkward I tell you. The coloured ones? Girl just wanna look wild tongue. The weak hairline mostly affects the braid rockers, I think girls should just know what works for them and we cool. Until 2017, the last time I braided was 2015. My hairline isn't all that strong.

Apart from all that, as humans we deepen intimacy by touch. In Mills and Boons or Silhouette romance novels (whichever your poison is), when you see stuff like "he grabbed a fistful of her golden locks and breathed in her essence" they don't mean 3 month old attachments. It's uncomfortable patting a girl on the head and feeling sponge. Or trying to caress her hair to comfort her with a weave on. It just kills the mood

Hahahaha cheesy grin

Bills and boons just killed me. Lol, which of your sisters' library were you stealing em books from? tongue

I don't know Ben, can't imagine why anyone would have attachments on for months... This is 2018, let's pray there's an improvement. And the guys can be of help by letting the females around you know they're perfect with their natural looks. Most times, these girls do these things to step up their game and impress the guys...

Lol. I've never actually read any of those IQ drainers, I write and read a lot so I've come across many books.
The thing is already in their heads. Telling them won't change anything because they're convinced they look like swamp monsters without the weave-ons.
I think some girls leave their weaves for months when the hair is expensive (and they have to rock their money's worth) or they're too broke to fix another one.
So you look like a teenager ehn. You might kneel down to greet me if we ever run into each other grin

Oh, he's a writer. Cool. smiley

Hahahaha cheesy. The hair being expensive is a silly excuse abeg. You can loosen it, wash, dry the weave and get to fix another style with it. You can even wash and hand dry it without loosening it sef( human hair though). I think it's more of a personal hygiene thing because if you ain't patronizing the expensive salons, fixing is cheap, 1k or thereabout should get it done.

Kneel fire! You know petite people and cockiness are inseparable. cheesy tongue

Not professionally, just amateur. D'you like horror and psychological thrillers?
You have a point. I think its actually laziness that makes some girls carry their weaves for months. Even if its the only one they have, it can't take that long to dry. Maybe they're considering the time it'll take to reattach it though, and I think the process is a little painful/uncomfortable.
Oi, aren't you Yoruba? You should kneel to greet your elders or you'll be made a pariah angry
