GBPJPY..
Just like every other JPY pairs, they are all at a resistance.
With GBPJPY trading in a channel. We dont know yet if it will respect or break out from the channel.
However we have the last consolidation before market close boxed.
Whatever happens with that box will determine the direction of price.

Sharing this new strategy.
Im sure some of us know about it but some who dont, it might help.
Its called 'box and chill'

Basically what it is, is..
You identify where price is consolidating on a higher time frame..
Box it and then go to a lower time frame,
wait for a break out to the either side to take your entry.
You can trade it at the break out (risky) or wait for the breakout, a retest and then enter.

Also with this strategy, you can trade price movement within the box until it breaks out.

Here is a chart of EURNZD 4hrs with the box and chill strategy.
Red: Break out
Blue: Retest
White: Entry

Over 50pips reduced to less than 10pips.
One of my biggest problems.
always wanting bigger pips and not taking the one the market gave.

Who else is watching USDJPY..

You will see the big box (red).
Im hoping for another (smaller) box (yellow).
The yellow box will determine what will happen.
Whether to buy or sell.
Remember, it may not go as I hope but
staying prepared and ready is all to it.

EA and GA breaking out from the smaller box..
They may be a good buy but im not gonna take the position.
Reason: Daily candle is very bearish.
I will rather wait to see if a sell opportunity will mature because,
price broke out from the major ascending trendline/channel on both pairs and
what is happening now might be some correction before the party to the south starts..

EURAUD..
So that really was a fake-out..

Last last we will all be fine..
EURCAD got back some sense.
107pips ATM.

NZDUSD..
With the news coming out from NZ later,
seems there will be a bullish breakout from the box.
Whatever happens, lets stay ready and prepared to attack.


Update:
As predicted, the news gave us some bullish breakout.
So will be looking for a buying opportunity to the next resistance around 0.67180.

So we expect some pullback to the upside,
when a resistance is formed, its best to sell for the longterm (Swing).

Yet to break the neckline but im hoping this pair to sell massively.
Note, what i hope for might not actually happen.
But in case the neckline breaks, wait for a possible pullback and resistance.
Then sell. For me, I hope to add more position when that happens.

Nigerian time.

As a scalper, try to avoid asia session.
Usually very slow.

LOL. The markets are closed now. Try around 11pm tonight depending on your broker. By then Asian sessions will begin
