The multipurpose, ultra-modern headquarters of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Gbagada will be commissioned any moment from now, according to latest information reaching us.

The gigantic edifice whose construction began in 2005 is expected to seat 35,000 congregants in a single service. Up to 15,000 children will also be accommodated within a spacious segment of the new church.

The dedication of the church is expected to be performed by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry’s General Superintendent Pastor W.F Kumuyi, who will be assisted by other ministers in the church and also by invited ministers from other churches.

Distinguished citizens from the Federal and State Governments are being invited to grace the occasion. These will expectedly include the Vice-President of the Federation, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, other State Governors, Ministers, State Commissioners, Traditional Rulers, Captains of industry and other distinguished citizens from within and outside the country.

Distinct features completed with the new headquarters include a multi-layer vehicular park for 700 cars and 75 buses and a 100 meter- long link bridge built by construction giant, Julius Berger, to ease the free flow of traffic in the area.

We learnt from the grapevine that apart from hosting the weekly services of the ministry, the new headquarters church will offer spiritual enrichment to various categories of people, from diverse classes on a regular basis.

“The commissioning of the new church", according to a source, "is to fulfill the Lord Jesus’ great commission mandate of reaching the whole world with the glorious gospel, exploiting all means available.”

“This is why the new church is equipped with sophisticated communication gadgets and ICT accompaniments so that messages from the general superintendent can be received by millions of souls in any part of the world as simultaneously as signals are sent”

“The spiritual fervour of all inquirers and visitors remains the prime concern of the Deeper Life Bible Church”, our source further revealed.
