Karl Wallenda was a circus legend and well-known daredevil. He
did most of his routines without any safety equipment. Pictured
above, he is 121 feet above the ground between two hotels in
Puerto Rico. Sadly, this was his last walk, as he fell to his death
shortly after this picture was taken. One thing that might shock you
is the fact that he was 73 years old when he attempted this walk.

This photo was taken in a zoo in New Delhi, India, moments before
the white tiger dragged this man by the neck into his den, where he
eventually killed him. The whole fiasco lasted for about 15 minutes
after the man, who tried to climb up the fence to see this rare tiger
up close, slipped and fell into the cage. According to the zookeepers
and the visitors who witnessed this unfortunate event, all attempts
made to distract the tiger were unsuccessful.

Andrew Oberle was studying chimp behaviour at the Goodall
Institute in South Africa. According to reports, Oberle bypassed two
safety fences to get close enough to the chimps, and they attacked
him. He was left fighting for his life after being bitten and dragged
for half a mile. His parents asked the hospital not to disclose the
extent of their son’s injuries, but reports have leaked saying that the
victim lost his fingers and toes, and his arms were exposed to the
bone. The attack was blamed on Oberle’s human error.

21-year old Oscar Otero Aguilar took this photo before going out to
spend a night with his friends in 2014. He ended up drinking too
much and thought it would be a great idea to take a picture of
himself with a gun to his head. His intentions were to use the photo
for his Facebook profile picture, but unfortunately, the gun went off
and he lost his life.

Pictured is Regina Kay Walters, a 14-year old girl who was held
hostage by a serial killer. The man cut off her hair and forced her to
wear this black dress and heels before murdering her. The killer has
been nicknamed “The Truck Stop Killer” and remains in prison
today. Although he’s only confirmed to have killed three women, it’s
thought that he’s responsible for over 50 murders.

Filipino politician Reynaldo Dagsa was just trying to take a nice picture of his family on New Year’s Day of 2011. Sadly, the gunman who is shown to the left took Dagsa’s life right there in front of his family moments after he took this picture. This photo was very important evidence in the murder trial of the assassin.

On July 25, 2000, Air France 4590 was scheduled to fly from Paris
to New York City. Unfortunately, the jet ended up hitting debris on
the runway which blew a tire, punctured a fuel tank, and caused the
engine to fail and catch fire. The engine failure resulted in the plane
losing power and crashing into a nearby hotel just minutes after
taking off. All passengers, along with four people in the hotel,

When hiking, try and stay away from bear territories, as they can
be very dangerous when defending their cubs and/or their prey.
Unfortunately, the hiker who took this photo in New Jersey, USA,
wasn’t aware of how to defend himself against a bear attack and
got killed moments after making the snap. The best thing to do
when encountering a bear, contrary to popular belief, isn’t to lay
down on the ground pretending you are dead. While the strategy
may work with certain type of bears, it doesn’t work with all of
them. So, back away slowly, without running, and keep your eyes
on the bear at all times. Talk to it in a calm manner to make it
acknowledge your presence, and don’t shout or fig

Cobras are ones of the most dangerous snakes on earth, and most
people shake with fear at the very thought of encountering one
throughout their lifetimes. But, there’s us and there’s snake
charmers, who fearlessly approach these gruesome snakes,
hypnotize them and perform other dangerous acts. The guy pictured
above is Ali Khan Samsudin, a famous snake charmer who
regularly performed stunts with cobras. He is most known for
locking himself in a room with 400 cobras for 40 days – something
most people would consider their worst nightmare. Sadly, after
years of doing this, one cobra decided it had enough of the “Snake
King” and bit him fatally back in 2006.

It appears this lion is curious to see what the man at the campsite
is watching on his tablet. However, that is just our interpretation.
The reality behind all this is that the human in the picture is
professional animal trainer Charlie Sammut, and the lion is his
perfectly trained buddy. So yes, it’s safe to say that no one was
harmed in staging this photo. 1 Like 1 Share
