So true caller brought out his name as Sam adiri

he scammed me with fake alert, I was in a hurry so I didn't take the necessary steps to confirm the alert

Pls I'm not posting this for u guys to sympathize with me, the whole thing happened on Saturday and since then his number has not been going, wen I call, it shows line busy, tried with another number, shows line busy, so I just let the thing die down, to my greatest surprise, I tried the number today and it went thru, meaning that number is kinda important to him or he still wanna use it for his scam biz

I'm posting this so incase anyone is about dealing with him, the person should run, I'll drop more information soon

Was going to sell two phones, his was unlocked and cheaper, I needed to head to Ikeja to unlock the other one and meet up d buyer, was in a hurry

Am surprised that bobo65 was scammed. I have done biz with him once. He looks cool and a well calculated guy. No one is above mistake though.

Sincerely, we make mistakes most times we are in a hurry. I have had my fair share.

Abeg... Who eventually catch this guy make him open thread for catching, so that others go fit recover their items/money.

Seems this same guy has done it to two other people on this forum.

I came across another that said this scammer transfered to his account but after he left the money was reverted, but how is that possible or is it the new FMT??

You must be informed and served court papers before the bank can revert any money paid into your account. I'd suggest always verifying your account balance going forward since fraudsters now have access to making fake transaction alerts.

Its pretty bad but lemme advise u bro, download ur bank's mobile app and use it only to check ur bank account cash inflow. People send fake alerts these days.

One other way that serves as tell tale for fake alert is: it won't tell u ur bank balance
