We had organised cities, with planned housing, roads, street lights, great walls comparable to the wall of China. Please wakanda isn't a perfect jungle! According to the comics,they are way more advanced technologically than the other races on earth. Thanks to their abundant supply of the metal vibranium and adamantium,their king is a freaking billionaire! I suppose that’s what sets us apart - and rightly so... we are not yet out of the woods. You can read books like “How Europe underdeveloped Africa” to get the gist.
