I must say that what you are saying makes some sense.

At the press briefing, Ganduje was answering the questions but once he was asked if he and the other governors would support Buhari's re-election campaign, El-Rufai stepped up to the microphoned and answered that all the 7 governors present apart from the governor of Yobe state were first-term governors and that they all wanted continuity.

Why did El-Rufai chance Ganduje at the very moment a seemingly easy question about supporting Buhari's re-election was asked? Why will El-Rufai need to state that most of them were first-term governors?

Somebody that truncated our democracy will never easily relinquish power.

If true, I'll vote El Rufai as President. He's one of the few leaders that can restore sanity in the Nigeria system. My only problem is just his ethnic jingoism.
