The remain of Ekpo Masquerade that was knocked down in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State Capital was today laid to rest in his hometown Ifa Ikot Okpon in Uyo LGA.
The Burial was conducted by Other well dressed Ekpo Masquerade numbered over twenty.
Speaking before the final interment,the Obong Ekpo of the area stressed that Ekpo Masqurade is a culture and base on the norms and cultural practices,the burial of any dead Masquarade should be remain sacred.
The coffin that contained the dead Masquerade was carried shoulder high by some of the Masquerade present.
