What alternatives are they providing for these hapless and hard working citizens?Kidnapping and armed robbery abi? .they always try to run before walking.Cart pushing could be sanitize in such a way that it will generate revenue money for the government without having to put people out of jobs. |

The parking spaces in congested lagos island are left in the hands of thugs. Something that could create jobs, revenues and most of all sanitize vehicles and human traffic in that chaotic environment. |

A responsible government will not take away the livelihood of law abiding and hard working citizens without providing a viable alternative to the displaced workers. This is how they breed unwilling criminals. Shame on Lagos State government. 1 Like |

Exactly! You only need to move around Lagos to see how almost every street is being buried in dirt. Regulating like you suggested will be a good one - the Cart guys go into the crannies and bring out to LAWMA for final evacuation fr3do: 1 Like |

You make a ban, there should be time before it goes into effect. Why not give them 30 days to get their lives together? Don't you realize you just took away their means of livelihood? What is it about Nigerian governance that aims to make life even more difficult for the helpless? SHAME ON YOU AMBODE, SHAME ON YOU!!! 5 Likes 1 Share |

YourWife: Lol. You realize that there is not one single Nigerian in Nigeria right now that is fit to lead the country right? Let me give you all one very serious advice. Your best bet as a people is to go out into the world and find someone of Nigerian descent who has never lived nor grew up in Nigeria to come and lead you. Why? Because every single person in Nigeria has been tainted psychologically. 1 Like |

Im sure the Lagos state government has a waste management company where these guys can be recruited to sort out different kinda waste. Sort out plastic from papers and other stuff. You ban okada, ban danfo, ban truck pushers, ban street hawkers and some people are chanting itesiwaju eko. After same people will come to NL or go on twitter to start stupid threads of how their mirrors were broken and phones and belongings stolen while driving in traffic. Nobody is saying anything about the touts shouting 'owo mi da' and collecting illegal money from people who are working hard and which the mumu govt still intends to ban. I don't see how a govt with a functioning brain will be banning people who are working to make a living and encourage touts and armed robbers who are raping, stealing and constituting all forms of nuisance. So the agberos are better than the danfo drivers, truck pushers, okada riders and street hawkers? itesiwaju eko indeed. They can only fool their blind followers. 4 Likes |
