What we need now most is winning souls for the Kingdom of God and not more centres for occupation of believers. Bench warming believers aren't fulfilling the Great Commission. 3 Likes |

Mrnakeina: It will provide employment for those that graduated from theological colleges. It is pointless criticising this, because the only way to make us blind, deaf, dumb and gullible is to tie a white elephant project to God. There is a Church in Governor's Lodge in Uyo, there is a banquet hall, there is Ibom Hall (civic center), there are two stadia in Uyo, maybe all the prayers prayed in those places were never answered warranting building a befitting worship centre, where prayers surely would be answered. But then, There are only two viable "industries" in Akwa Ibom: Churches and sit-outs. Governor Udom is only aligning with what is trending in the State and the more lucrative. 2 Likes |

This GO folks are part of the problem in Nigeria. Now, who is financing this project and of what need? When we have millions of job seekers on the streets the governments are busy building churches to create more sheeples and docile youths? When I say this religious gangster lords are hand in hand with our corrupt politicians some blind folks will argue me. Adeboye, Oyedekpo and his likes will be punished here and after death for manipulating the minds of poor Nigerians!! 2 Likes |

what christians need now isn't buildings for worship but buildings for vocational training on relevant and updated skills, buildings for farm settlements, buildings to cater for the sick, disabled and elderly, buildings for the abandoned etc The man of God should advise politicians and the elites to invest in humanity so that God can rain down mercy on this nation without which doom may befall Nigeria,no matter how intelligent and wealthy our elites and political class are without God's mercy all is in vain and their efforts won't change anything, whether they spend trillions shouting change or not |

XingXhang: Only concerned about the quoted, my boss, i don't agree with you on this, we have all seen the influence of social media not just on religious ground, but political and matrimonial levels. At this age, whatever starts from social media don't stay there alone but stand as yardstick and even ladder to to which the issue climbs to reality. |

XingXhang:It really pains me that am from the same country with you, how people like you think baffles me. We already have thousands of worship centers in Nigeria yet the government and religious leaders are building more and you are commending them. Is it that you don't think or you are wicked. At this stage we don't need such project in this country. People like you are the reason Donald Trump called Nigeria a shîthole country, and he's right. 2 Likes |

KENZINCO: Leave them to continue weeping like hens who just lost their chicks to a merciless hawk. More churches are loading. Those who hate it should do the needful. No one complains about the beer parlours that are opening at every street corner with noisy music that plays throughout the night. But when it comes to building a church, they all start suggesting the money should have been used for something 'better' as if they really cared. |
