God'l help. I actualy prayed about it n unlike before, i can stay without it now. All i do is try to ignore it. I also avoid having N5 or N10 so i wldnt be temptd 2 buy it. Wen i get it, i dnt take more than 1. Havent totally won, but d further i stayed 4rm it, d lesser i craved 4 it. |

@ Anngirl The small change in d wallet is d greatest enemy (N5/N10). I have prayed about, my fiance prayed for me all to no avail. i stop for one week before you knw it ,i start consoling myself that i've tried and one ball wouldnt hurt to compensate for d 1 week stayed off and ds results in buying N5 worth of it which is abt 4 balls which i most likely would finish at once. Also, i tried hiding some in the house ,i chew them and allow to dissolve in my mouth for like ten mins then i spit them out and savor d taste hanging in my tongue, the result effect is dt i see myself swallowing a reasonable qty of it. In fact , i made a post yesterday on my resolve to stop after reading a write up that it contains carcinogenic substances ,lo n behold i went to market after COB ysterday to buy small food stuff and d N5 change i had was used to buy dt piece of dirty sweet evil! the next consolation my mind gave me was dt our grannys ate them for ages and it did'nt hurt then so why now! I feel terribly guilty each time i eat it, moreso the fact that i promised my fiance that i've stopped.I still eat them and as i type i have 1 ball hidden in my box @ home. Am craving for it even now as i type! God i do not intend to harm myself cos i wanna grow old with my boo, God please help me oooooo |

It is not addiction at all, it is often a sign of anaemia. If you fight the anaemia and boost your blood level you will lose the crave for nzu. Pls talk to a doctor and try checking your blood level and all that. I am writing from (let's say) experience. We ladies often don't realise when we are anaemic since we might still be looking cute and meanwhile the thing will show up in the form of crave for nzu. |
Re: 'nzu'- Dat Local Chalk by Nobody: 9:51am On Jan 19, 2011 |
@Madam L You have a valid point there. as a matter of fact i went to d hospital and it was discovered that my blood level is not really ok infact low. Am working on it now atleast i've been away from nzu for 48hrs now will soon start taking my supplements yea 48 hrs cos i consume it almost everyday so am trying. God will help |

Please read this article on Wikipedia, there are lots references and other links it has. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicinal_clay I dont think there is anything wrong with consuming clay- Just try to eat a balanced diet and if your body still can't get all the micronutrients it needs you can supplement it. Most of the medicines we take for stomach conditions- Kaolin etc, facials- clearasil most contain clay, even NASA used it in their space program- a particularly type because of its calcium content. There are various types and depending on the source has various constiunets. No 2 clays are the same. If clays are supposed to be capable of absorption of heavy metal, obviously if they contain lead won't they rrelease what is needed and the body get rid of the rest? Oh and by the way not all clays contain lead. It depends on the source of the clay. Or would we rather buy the clay form pharmaceutical companies after it has been processed or use it in its raw state |
