in fairness obj scored them good in security as against what pertained bf. boko haram has not being technical defeated as there are scores of death recorded each day but to say their capacity has been reduced is not far from the truth now to fighting corruption, we have told that billions of naira has recovered but they end up borrowing to even fund the budget, the repeated cases of corruption the baru / ibe kachukwu saga, 4 million been siphoned from Nnpc 's account, the maina's case, the babchair case, dinning with people who had corruption cases against them mysterious dropped because they became APC members. I could go on and on now to the economy, they said it was easy to come out of recession because the previous govt caused it. truly the previous govt may have contributed but APC govt is not totally absorbed from blame. the fact that buhari thought his body language could run a govt for six good months without ministers calling them noise makers.that singular act damped investors confidence and caused so much more to leave the country. giving yourself kudos for a problem, you knew about, campaigned u could solve by waving ur magic wand is a blow below the belt they said the economy has grown but on d ground what can we see.fashola said a serious government would tackle power problem in 6 months. it's 3 years have u had good power supply what about the allegations of nepotism, government complacency, bazzen disregard for court orders n many other things obj raised the summary of this is can be given you are given examination to answer 7 question, u answer one or two and leave the others unanswered and hope for a miracle 4 Likes 2 Shares |

The response of Mr Lai "Lie" Mohammed to Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo's letter is very matured and intelligent. He smartly attempted to fool us yet again with figures and data of the assumed achievements of this administration. I agree with Mr Lai Mohammed on some achievement claims and reports he summarized in his response but I am worried about the body language and actions of Mr President on the herdsmen crisis, nepotism, corruption, leadership, communication and responsiveness to national issues and crisis. He acts unconcerned on some critical issues and brazenly encourages corruption and terrorism with his silence and in-actions. I have also observed some of his appointments especially with respect to security institutions in the country and I noticed his choices are appalling. I don't think PMB needs my advice or opinion especially because of the nature of leadership (self serving and exclusive of the majority/consensus) he champions hence, I feel the need to retire him to Daura in 2018 - so help me God. 5 Likes |

Well, to me, Lai Mohammed tried with the kind response he gave even though he is being economical with the truth. I was expecting a horror sort of response from the presidency but I was disappointed. 3 Likes |

''* Power Generation at an all-time high of 7,000mw and all can be transmitted'' ''When we assumed office in 2015, some 6 million farmers were involved in rice production. Thanks to the Anchor Borrowers' programme of this Administration, we have grown that number to over 12 million farmers. The result is that our rice import from Thailand alone has dropped from 644 metric tonnes to 22,000 MT in just two years. This is phenomenal.'' To me this is key,and factual. Since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914,Nigeria has never had it so good, just in over 2years! Those who still cannot see change, might probably be blind for ever! How much power did the 3rd term agenda OBJ generate during is tenure, that is giving him the audacity to advice PMB not to contest?Playing GOd? 16years of APC will definitely be better than 16years of PDP. I admit the imperfections of PMB,but that cannot be a basis for OBJs ill-advised advisory that PMB should not seek a second term. 2 Likes |

Lai[s][/s]Liar Mohammed might not have done adequate justice to all the issues raised in Obj's letter but he sure has given a well thought and fact based reply. What nigerians are asking for is some sense of leadership, empathy and an all encompassing governement. One where appointments are made beyond ethnic and religious bias, where the common man can atleast have a dignity of life and purpose, a government where proven track records superceed political and religious allegiance. Buhari has underperformed and it is very obvious these acclaimed achievements are all the Buhari government have to offer. But our problems are beyond figures and improvements. Nigeria needs solutions, bold strides moving forward without glaring consequent devastating hunger and suffering and callousness and killings and kidnappings (or atleast bearable ones). We are hungry and angry as a nation. The fight against insurgency has been remarkable but we feel more than ever much more scared and insecured. Our media headlines have been a ping-ping parade of kidnappings, blood, rituals and more blood. Nigeria is bleeding and it is obvious our messiah is yet to arrive. I believe we can do better and be better as a nation but I also strongly believe now than ever that Buhari is not the answer to our problems. But even more disturbing is the question of who can solve the problems of our dear own native land? Who? 1 Like 1 Share |

fantastic response!! But we know say some people end their education for primary school so instead of to read and comprehend they’d rather stick with word of mouth from the market..we should learn to check facts that way we would be able to read between the lines and see that Buhari isn’t having it easy now so what’s the point of making it worse for himself by bringing untold hardship upon the people on purpose. Personally I feel like a lot of PDP youths are empowered to corrupt the minds of Nigerians since they can’t effect corruption on our treasury as a means to get into power but God Big pass Una make Una leave this distractions and let the man rule we have real problems that need addressing don’t just think of Nigeria for you but for your grand kids and your children. Let’s forget triviality! 3 Likes |

Etogist:Exactly! And to do a comparison of a season of economic prosperity and that of economic drought in his analysis of Jamb's remittance is at the worst, a dumb move to appraise a regressive administration! Let me lecture you Lai, the aggregate of enrollments, price charged per applicant/enrollee and prevailing entrance opportunities (number of admitting institutions comparative in periods under review) are functions of the amount you arrived at, NOT a magic wand by this administration nor any conjecture of the Jamb helmsman. |

Nigeria was never in any f''king recession. It was a self induced recession as a result of poor/bad policies initiated at the beginning of this administration. As an investor, will you leave your money in an economy that was running on auto for more than 6months. Mind you, most big investments in Nigeria are owned by foreigners. As soon as they pull out their money from the system due to uncertainty of how the incoming govt will handle the economy , naira fell, that's the beginning of the so called recession. How can a reasonable govt take 6 months to appoint a person like Fashola, amaechi and Co. It shouldn't take more than 2wks to appoint people like this. NOC1: |

Everyone knows that the fear of being out of the corridor of power is the reason Buhari's aides will lie from here to Jericho to ensure he continues. But regardless, Buhari has failed woefully and should just go and rest. I'm not worried about Buhari's age but I'm worried about the age of his ideas. Nepotism, imagine the north with the backwardness in education taking charge of almost every facet of Nigeria. We can't progress. Split the shithole for the love of Mike. |
