You don't seem to understand. Why would tithes sustain the school when the school fees as at 2016 was [b]$40,000[\b]? I am sure every average home in Nigeria can afford that.

Once again I want to debunk this claim. It is a LIE!!!

The school is self-sustaining

You see how you people spread false information. I’m a graduate of covenant fam (2016 set)

Our school fees as at 2016 was max 700k+( engineering and architecture are the most expensive). That sum is for a year, including accommodation, medical fees, books, tuition, internet etc.

NGN 700k = approximately $2000 at today’s exchange rate.

Stop spreading fallacies.
A lot of people there are average Nigerians. Our parents just wanted to give us something of value. Don’t get it twisted.

There are wealthy people there and there are regular people.
Lol bro I was surprised when I saw 40k USD. That would have mean Covenant is more expensive than some UK universities. But honestly, Winners is really trying by being able to offer such quality for such a low amount.
The structures at the background are simply huge and can contend with foreign structures.

Yes it is. It sustains itself with $40,490 per session.

Lol, I was already scared when I saw that figure. They are. Hopefully, the government can replicate it in public universities. We have to move this country forward.

Cheers.

Lol, I only cared about fees structure in 100L. It was sha a little over 700k in my final year (engineering). That was the total for the 2015/2016 session.
No additional fees.

Nigerians are just too sentimental. Even in advanced countries like the USA, there are schools that the average American cannot afford. There are schools in the USA that are far more expensive than what they pay at CU. U just have to cut ur coats according to ur size CLOTH/CLOTHE. There are cars of $12,000 and there are cars of $5 million. U want premium u got to pay for it.

Fixed

I want whatever you are smoking. It must be some good shiit. A total price for education at covenant university in 2015-2016 is $40,490. Tuition makes $30,440, room is $9,170 and covenant university fees make 880$. How does an average home in Nigeria afford this? How?

That's definitely a covenant university somewhere else.
