To Christians out there, how compulsory is it to close one's eyes while playing to God Almighty?

Firstly, isn't church or place of worship the house of Almighty and in his presence, devil has no will.

Secondly, what matters is your concentration to God you are serving. So long you concentrate, your prayers should be heard.
