Lagosians have complained to Desmond Elliot, who is the lawmaker representing Surulere Constituency, about the problems they've been facing since the inception of the Cleaner Lagos Initiative.

This was after he posted a picture showing workers of the initiative doing their job of cleaning the streets of Lagos.

The quote that acompanied the picture appears to be aimed at calming the nerve of the public who are beginning to see a Lagos that reminds them of an horrible past they had long forgotten.

Desmond's Instagram post:

So I told you the cleaner lagos initiative was going to start soonest and here we are .. Oga knows just what to do .. thank you @akinwunmiambode lagos will soon earn the #the cleanest city status ... thanks lagos for your patience

I see a carefully orchestrated move to present Lagos as being clean. Sorry, it is a fallacy, too many parts of the city are still dirty.

It is either a place is clean or not. Pictures of some people in uniform and trucks clearing refuse do not mean the city is clean.

Bring back the LAWMA street sweepers and integrate them with any new system you want to start.

Meanwhile, it is obvious that the Cleaner Lagos Initiative does not have the capacity to do the job of multiple PSP operators, hence, the filth we see in Lagos.

Ambode is playing politics with lagos. He systematically removed LAWMA just cos the former administration has affilliation with it. Now, see how ineffective this new initiative is.

You can check how well run a facility is by checking the toilet .
The waste disposal system has always been a yardstick for measuring the quality of leadership in Lagos.
Ambode is multiple levels below Fashola.
Of all the issues affecting or afflicting Lagos , this man went after one of the visible success stories and broke it .
Stuffs to keep this clown busy

Town planning ,zoning , replanning and regeneration
Paving inner street
Upgrading the school system
Building an independent quality healthcare system
Ambode is a bad downgrade.
