I just noticed one thing here,maturity from APC members or APC sympathizers in this forum as regards this PDP senator from Abia state called Mao constituency project or empowerment. They saw his action as a Nigeria/political class thing where they feed fat from our national wealth and hands peanuts to the masses. They didn't base their comment on party thing like those in PDP does, like if it were to be an APC senator you will hear them say that is the change you voted for, APC is evil and so on. But now that he's a PDP senator and especially from the East our online ranters without PVC will go into hiding. Well you may be correct but despite the sharing of pots and buckets, Bangladesh is still the poorest country in Asia. Bangladesh is like Yobe or Zamfara, that is not our aspiration for Nigeria.
To solve poverty, look to China, Vietnam, India, South Korea for solutions.

Our politicians have no ideas about what to do to meet the needs of the people.
Our business ideas are all about contract and supply, and that's how the fry pans and gas cylinders got there.

It should be noted that in d first place the national assembly should never fund projects. Aoart from oversight functions, their sole duty is law making. It is because they are given monies to finance projects that our recurrent expenditure is far more than capital leaving little or nothing for infrastructural development. Infact the executive should never be blamed alone for the decay in infrastructure as the national assembly gets fund to finance projects in their constituencies.

Nigeria is hopeless and we can never expect anyrhing better if we continue same way. Even 2019 when new set of people are elected it is still the same thing we would get.
