Every one feels, visualizes and perceives the changes differently depending on the level of their vibration. On the day I posted this thread there was Seismic Activity in Nigeria and Chad. The site is updated every minute and you may be sleeping late at night when the update shows up the next Seismic Activities.

Just like any earth vibration, it stops and settles and may start again. The fact remains that earth have started to vibrate around the middle belt and that keeps me worried and tracking it as I have families not far away. Even if the meteorological office notifies the government, the government may keep it secret depending on the seriousness so as not to cause public panic so independent online tracking is recommended.

an earthquake is when the plates move and the sites i gave you record anything over a 1.5 (has to be at least a 3.0 for people to feel though some sensitive people can feel a 2.5).  earthquake can also refer to impacts from meteors, comets or bombs, or by magma displacement.   "vibration"?  meaning what - someone used some dynamite in mine somewhere?

I've experienced 2 minor earth quakes in Europe since 1993 - 2008 and all in the midnight 1pm-5pm. Once while on the bed awake and second while working on PC and all in tall buildings of 4-7 floors.

The buildings swang and rowed like a boat. Its scary and that is why I hate tall residential buildings.

^^^ i have been in several as well (common in the us). buildings in the us and most developed countries that boarder the pacific are required by law to be able to withstand a 6.0 without stuctural damage. western europe is 5.0-6.0 depending on country. buildings are supposed to sway in a quake - it is part of its safty features (same with high winds and rains). they actualy sustain less damage by swaying. building mechanics are modled after the natural world. think of a tree- live trees sway and give while dead ones are unmoving and snap easily in a storm.

These three comments shows the message is sunking in and resonating with many people.

To all of you, I will say that if anyone have the answers about the Universe, we won't be here suffering today. Whether you wish to call this a theory, science, concept or wild wild west ideas, it does not matter.

The fact is that even the governments, scientists and religion have tried for centuries to find the secrets of the Universe
but none has succeeded. Even CERN is currently trying to find the secrets of the Universe and dimensions and has so far not succeeded.

My intention in sharing this message here is to make sure that Nigerians  and Africans are informed as we are a continent that is always left behind in everything mostly due to our ignorance, stupidity and stubbornness.

The Internet and mobile phone became widely used in Europe since early 90's but Africa got a feel of it quite late. I had my first mobile phone in UK in 1993 when you can't walk the street or bus with mobile because of thieves. And my first Internet in 1995.

It is not just the African governments that are slow to respond to changes but the people. There are billions of information on the Internet but most Africans rarely research or make use of them.

While many Nigerians may find these theories offensive, kids as young as 10 years in Europe are well aware that something is going to happen in 2012 and are already prepared as they discuss it in schools, watch the films and read about it on the Internet and even joining in forum discussions. To those in the Western world, it is no more news or strange theory. Its an expected reality and one that it is being anticipated with joy rather than awe or fear.

@lovenifest you do know that the mayan's have been protesting the movie 2012 because it does not display what they believe to happen. they said that 2012 is the end of a cycle not the end of the world- that at the end of the cycle - the last time one of thier cycles ended there was a freak cold snap (tropical plants frozen in glaciars that you can go see for yourself being the glacier is melting and revealing these flash frozen plants.)

I can tell you categorically clear that what you see around you today is an illusion. Everything seems as usual and normal and that is the way it has to be.
