A Nigerian caterer, Joan has taken to Twitter to reveal she has finally left her abusive marriage after one year.

According to her, it can't be cured, it only kills. She wrote;

"Finally being brave and letting go of a violent husband and an abusive marriage, domestic violence can't be cured, it only kills."

No one deserves an abusive partner/marriage, walk away before it's too late to.

But many people are possessed and manipulated by satan himself to give marriage a bad name and outlook.
But marriage is honourable. No woman should stay in an abusive household. The marriage can keep going till solution is found

Men are becoming beasts nowadays they think they can always have women at their beck and call. That's why to be financially independent is beneficial. many women are suffering from domestic violence but they remain in such relationships because they are dependent on the man and also our society frown at divorcees. Marriage is overrated in Africa though
