Why is motor accidents so common in the North? Is it that they're always on the high side, e.g on codeine syrup, tramadol etc

The worst part of this root is that you may not see any car or bus coming for like 20 minute even 30 min... You can hardly see Road safety, even police are very scarce there... before you can see a reasonable hospital, it won't take nothing less that 3 hours...

If one survive accident in that root...na to dey mark the date like Valentine
abeg!!! the distance between bida and minna is just 86km. there's a federal medical centre in bida as well as a general hospital and private hospitals. in Minna there's a federal government owned specialist hospital as well as a general hospital and private hospitals. both towns have FRSC unit commands and a state command in Minna....the road is very very busy and there's always traffic.

This is indeed sad. Jus last month, lives were lost on this same road, this month , it was the Suleja-Minna road, now this again.
In a state that boasts past leaders like IBB, Abdulsalam, Justice Fati Abubakar, Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi, IG of police to name a few, this is indeed shameful.
Again our emergency preparedness and awareness is appalling

the road is very bad, true, then why drive recklessly
my tires are worn out I'm just "managing" them, true, then why drive on high speed?
my oga needs me to meet up the day's account, true, why not explain to him the constraints?
I need to meet my family's needs, true but why not remember that you should arrive alive?
I have prayed against evil forces, true, but why not be sober behind the wheels?
this mixture or drink or cigarette will help my intuition, FALSE, it only numbs your reasoning!
human error, ignorance and sheer stupidity accounts for 80% of road crashes ...if we're careful no matter the conditions of the road we won't be so hurt when we arrive late or fall short of our "balance"!
may we grow wisdom
may the souls of the dead rest in peace.

What expired tires do. Some carefully buy them or unknowingly do so. In all honesty, we need to know how to identify expired tires or tires in awful conditions before we board such vehicles. Tire conditions are more important than the drivers skills or general conditions of the car itself. We need to take charge of our lives when boarding public vehicles. Its their vehicle, but its our lives as take here. Rip to the dead.

Driving in untamed jungle is suicidal. Motorize vehicles are like bombs in the hands of those that doesn't know what they are main for. This is enough to declare a day of national mourning in a sane society, but it is just one of many that will happen the same day in nigeria and nobody in authority will raise an eyelid.

I think it will do not ONLY Nigerlites but all people that ply that road a whole lot of good if Niger state government fix that Bida-Minna road. The road has become a death trap...so far 100 of lives has been lost on this same road and the governor had turned a blind eyes to the pathetic situation and some of thesebdeaths can be avoided and prevented if the road is fixed.

Niger state over the years has been so unlucky with its leaders...you scrape out the ashphalt of the road for about 6months now when you know you are not ready to resurface the road. Many communities along this axis have been complaining of dust raised by the motorists plying the root.

The earlier Niger state governor Abubakar Lolo Bello act as a responsible leader about this road the better for him

how about you suggest govt should buy us tyres right?

I dont see why an 18 seater bus will be fixed with a fairly used (belgium) tyre. These are the consequences.
