Valentine’s Celebration: Lagos Traders Count their Profits
The Valentine season has brought huge sales for a lot of retailers and store owners all over Lagos.

A lot of gift items are being sold all over Lagos from the roadside to the supermarkets, malls, boutiques and so on.

Many are not just getting gift items for their loved ones but are also using the opportunity to buy new clothes, shoes and other things for themselves.

A roadside seller at Yaba market who identified herself as Mama Dammy told dailyfamily.ng that sales have been good as many are buying a lot of things for Valentine including rose flowers.

She said: “the rose flower has been selling a lot because people are buying it for their loved ones.” The woman explained that the rose flower is not supposed to be given to only lovers alone but can be given to a loved one including children to wish them a happy valentine.

As Valentine’s day holds on the 14th February, many retailers and sellers are bound to make huge sales as many will step out to celebrate the day with their loved ones.
