Muslims in Plateau State have advised Muslims in other parts of the country to avoid passing through the federal highway in Riyom Local Government Area of the state.

The Muslims in a joint press conference addressed by its Media and Publicity Secretary Mallam Sani Mudi warned that the road has become a danger zone.

They said the Plateau State government is not serious about the return of peace to the state and is encouraging the crisis which has claimed many innocent Muslim lives along the road.

“In the interim, we advise all Muslims traveling from the North-east to Abuja to avoid passing through this danger zone pending the improvement of security in the area”, they advised.

It is just precaution. there is no strategy involved. infact the levels of security in Nigeria is so lax you can commit unimaginable acts of terrorism and get away with it. We are just aware of the barbaric acts of terrorism committed by the barely literate and poverty-ridden peoples. I can think of many ways to cause killings on a genocidal scale that the security agencies will take months to figure out and be left without a clue on what to do.
