Award winning Nigerian artist, Calebin has gotten his Finnish citizenship. Our reporter in Helsinki got the news during the week.

The “Whatssup” crooner who hails from Imo State of Nigeria has carved out a niche for himself as Europe most sought after artist.

The multi talented music act came to Finland barely five years ago and has established himself as an indomitable voice in afro-hiphop genre both in Europe and in Africa.

In 2016, he won the best artist award at the African Diaspora Merits Award (ADMA) He also clinched the most covetous best artist award at the Afrobeat Music Award (ABMA)

He has performed in several big shows in Europe and his collaboration with Alhaji Tekno of Nigeria in the song “Parole” still rings bell in the hearts of the lovers of afro-hiphop music
