Second class upper or Upper Class (B.sc or HND) degree in Accounting or related discipline.
AAT Certification in accounting will be an added advantage.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite. Proficiency in use of excel will be an added advantage.
Excellent numerate and book keeping skills
Familiar with use of accounting software. Familiarity in the use of QuickBooks will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, concepts and procedures.
Attention to details, good sense of judgment and analytically minded.
1-2 years cognate work experience in accounting or audit practice.

KEY TASKS
Issue sales invoice and payment receipts for all sales transactions.
Support in the daily update of accounting records of all payables and receivables transactions.
Update of daily sales and expense financial records.
Update of customer transactions in customer ledger schedule.
Preparation of weekly sales invoices, sales receipts and expenditure schedules/reports.
Petty cash administration.
Performs the function of a cashier as directed by superior.
Remittance of all statutory deductions
Maintain a correct and complete monthly record of non-vatable schedule
