That could be possible, but not in the nearest future. Qualcomm and Mediatek is the love of most OEMs. SpreadTrum on the other hand is got a lot of in-house and optimization works to do before it could start attracting the attention of some of the popular brands.

Even in spite of the clock speed of SC9853i CPU, the SoC is poorly optimized

i always forget there's a chipset called SPD lol it just aint popular no matter aw well dy upgrade
