My account was suspended since last year even after I have made one sales. I've tried several times to convince them to lift the suspension but to no avail. It's still suspended since May, 2017 and I don't know what to do again to lift the suspension.
Note: it's a Nigerian account.& I have linked my payoneer account to it.
What should I do? Can I create another account, probably using another email and get approved?

pls I opened an account and was getting work, a client didn't pay me and I report him to support team, the next thing I saw was verify your address and that was how the account was blocked. I opened another recently after gotten one job, it was suspended too. pls is there something I can do about it?

You should have verified your account when you initially had an issue with a client as it is a compulsory process someday for all Upwork freelancers and also an easy process which requires video verification or submission of identification documents - your ID card and bank statement for proof of address. Do not attempt to create a new account as it isn't necessary...just respond to the suspension message you received to inquire why your account was suspended and follow the subsequent procedure which should be identity verification.
