Both Canada and UK location now involve payment of tax. So, Canada is no longer a preferred location in the aspect of avoiding tax. Use UK location because of Nigeria time zone which aligns with that of UK. No need of using a VPN. You won't experience account ban without using VPN. Just add your Nigeria phone number to your Upwork account and don't verify the number.
