This OP is clearly obsessed with the North smiley.

Two days ago he asked what plan the North had for Nigeria (assuming it had none), by the time he was provided with a bulletproof roadmap to progress (despite failing to acknowledge the failures that southern leadership recorded in the 14 years it was in power since 1999), he ran away from the thread without acknowledging the roadmap, only to cough up this new one.

To confirm his prejudice, he has now asked northerners not to mention Aliko Dangote who is Nigerias gift to the black race and one of its biggest exports and sources of pride - a Fulani entrepreneur par excellence and richest black man alive, greatest industrialist in Africa that develops countries with solid infrastructure instead of powdered drugs. His insistence on excluding Dangote clearly proves that he is not genuinely curious but just seeks an avenue to bash the north in order to air out his frustration.

Even though we have inventors like Jelani Aliyu (Chevrolet Volt electric car), world leaders like Amina Mohammed (Dep. UN Secretary General), the world renowned colourful Hausa architecture among others, indulging the OP further will only reinforce his bigoted tendency to open another senseless prejudiced thread on his crazed obsession - the great people of northern Nigeria.

A Northerner whose business grew by thwarting Southern businesses through monopoly given to him by Northern led governments in the past.

Don't count him because he never engaged in business competition

Dangote is not a gift but he is single-handedly building the largest single train oil refinery and petrochemical plant in the world? A refinery that will supply and exceed Nigeria's total daily petroleum requirement and even have more left for export which will earn Nigeria foreign exchange and strengthen the Naira?

If that is not a gift, then kindly state your achievements on a similar scale for comparison.

bro, I have my reason for excluding Dangote.

Not that I do not recognize his achievements but truth me be told, Southerner played a huge role to his prominence. Who knew Dabgote before OBJ's time? Think.

Dangote is a man who was given opportunity and he hardly squandered it. He knows how to make use of any opportunity given to him and that is why appreciate him.

I have my reason for excluding him.

You can see they barely have filled up the 20 slots given? Until the South stop fighting each other and see that they built this country to prominence and place Nigeria on the international map for recognitions and stop playing second fiddle, this people will not stop taking them for granted.

Like I suspected, you're just a kid.

Dangote was the king of commodities (sugar, salt, rice, flour etc.) since the 80's even before he delved into manufacturing. His main benefactor was his billionaire merchant uncle, Aminu Dantata (Dantata & Sawoe, MRS) and not any southerner. What a delusion of grandeur.

Google Aliko Dangote and Aminu Dantata so you can stop embarrassing yourself.

It is may be obvious that the op has a sinister goal for opening this thread, but that shouldn't give you reason enough to dodge the issue he has raised. If the North has achieved much in all those areas he mentioned, it should be something of pride as a Northerner to come out and educate others about them. This is not just about the op, don't avoid the issue by making it look like it is.

If you insist on making it about the op, then at least address the issue once and for all. Shame the op and others like him and you will shut their mouth forever. Running away only validates his claim and emboldens him and his likes.

Manufacturing brought him the current international status he currently enjoys, not retailing and that is what I was referring to in the post quoted. Who gave that manufacturing a boost if not OBJ?

I know Dantata story and how be helped Dangote. The family has always been wealthy since 1800s, it didn't start today.

I knew you will stick to only Dabgote's achievement and nothing else which was why I deliberately ask he be excluded. It is to give you room to mention others. Dangote is not the only Northerner.

Mention others. I gave at least 20 slots. Oya, mention them and educate the forum.

I am a southerner and our achievements is in thousands... I am giving the northerners 20 slots... I am not talking about local achievements. I am talking about international space that make other countries know that there are people in Nigeria too.

The South can't continue to be doing work while some others claim leadership...

If he or anyone is genuinely interested in knowing the achievements, there are dozens on Google for each category.

I repeat, I do not feed trolls.

If that is your concern, then you should consider also that a huge chunk of the achievement by southerners out there in most of the areas you mentioned are under the influence of the western world, by their tools and educational system.

You should not have made that exclusion in the first place. Doing that has opened an escape route by means of the opportunity to divert the issue and thereby derailing the thread. It is quite obvious that that opportunity is being used already, observing quotasystem's response.
