I read about this particular plan about a week ago. Instantly, I called 9mobile customer care on Saturday (24th February, 2018) to complain about some issues and to also enquire about the said promo.

The respondent told me that it's only for new subscribers. Immediately after the call, I went to 9mobile office at Polo Park, Enugu to get a new sim.

Registered. Recharged. Tried the USSD *929*10# and it says I'm not qualified. Same story on my old 9mobile sim.

In other news, I don't think it's general, but only for selected people like someone claimed on the thread I heard about it first.

Meanwhile, what tariff plan are you on?

ya. its still working. i just sub this morning. maybe you are just having a network downtime.

Lol same here. I called their customer care and they said I'm eligible so I kept dialing *929*10#. When I called the following day, their CC said I'm not eligible anymore. Just like that.

I got it to work once.
It's just luck keep trying.

Selected sims. The reasonable network for data offer is glo mobile the rest are stingy.

Tried this today 25th Aug 2019. It worked!!!

If u tried it during the week(monday-friday) nd u got d error message(unavailable to u) it simply means u can only do it during d weekends i mean saturday nd sunday
