This is a mockery of common sense, the fools have confidence in Buhari but no confidence in his ministers.

You spoke my mind, a vote of no confidence on buhari would have been more sensible

The pain they re nursing is that the Ministers through the Permanent secretary had notified house of Rep of His Absent, they won't be around for the meeting due to their ealier scheduled engagements. But Gbajabiamila is saying he didn't see anything wrong is the letter wrote, but he saw the signatory as a lower officer, who shouldn't sign anything to the house of Rep because Speaker personally signed the letter to the Ministers. Their points isn't that the Ministers stole money or they are incompetent, but because the Ministers couldn't make it to the chamber and yet allow Permanent secretary to write in replying them.
All the House of Rep members did was just show of power and personal Aggrandisement.
That won't deter the hardworking Ministers... The ministry has recorded several progress from Increament in IGR contribution to making Nigerian mining sector known in the World, to several minerals discovered, intl engagements for The progress of ministry, digitalizing mining and Mining sector and many More.
They can continue Passing Votes... Where the real Votes counts is in progress of mining sector.

Nice overview. We all have to eschew bad leadership, regardless of its origin.
These people are yet to pass the 2018 budget, they are yet to pass important bills that will impact peoples lives, but they have time for other matters

Because the appointee knows very well that when youre summoned by the Senate or House it is cos thay have sensed that money is flowing somewhere and they want to share part of it....those guys are thieves and rogues...that's why they command no respect....the committee in charge of the ministry would have been making unimaginable demands on the on going contractual agreement process of Ajaokuta, as usual.....

Those ministers are one of those incapacitated one among them all which I think PMB should relieve them from their job.

Wait oo... They are passing vote of no confidence on the ground of contempt or lack of performance? Why do we feel bad when someone disgraces us and we feel nothing if we do same to others. I, honestly don't think those LEGISLOOTERS have moral justification to pass vote of no confidence on anybody

Like seriously, I Don, t know who cursed this country. Ajaokuta steel was the first thing I thought the government would revive when they came on board. This would have helped us developed rapidly as a country. 90% of every items imported are made from steel. From the oil sector to manufacturing sector which in turn could have created more jobs through investment inflows.

Fayemi was never qualified to become a minister of solid minerals, he is supposed to be DG of NIPSS Kuru

If Buhari meant well for Mineral sector, he would have employed an expert in the solid minerals sector as he appointed Kachikwu as minister in petroleum

[/b]It was said during the session that the alloy used in Rolls Royce is gotten from Kogi, till date and most likely illegally . Kilode!!!

you are pretty correct my brother. Most of this ministers are square pegs in round holes. Very much of a misfit I must say. Why would that igbo doctor be employed as a minister of labor? This kind of wrong appointment Makes one so so redundant.

Fayemi, Fashola and Ngige are the worst ministers in Buhari's cabinet.

Followed closely by Adebayo Shittu, That Red Berret Guy (Sports minister) and Lai Mohammed.

Fayemi had always being just a little more than a needlessly smug-posturing failure. The fact that Buhari could see a kindred spirit in him speaks volumes to Buhari's own barrenness intellectually and on every other front.

They are both chronic and perennial under-performers who rely on "being the head" to take the glory for their team's efforts. Left to themselves, they're emptier than an empty calabash. Bunch of failures!

Poor, useless, worthless and incompetent reps, cry me a river...

Every time the PMB's minister block their yeye and corrupt moves, they start doing gra gra like headless chickens...

The got tired of messing with Fashola because he did not share his ministry's money with them, he did not fund their foreign trips and estacode scams.

The fact that they scheduled an appearance on any particular day doesn't mean the ministers must be available on that day, they are all public officials with different official engagements so what sensible people negotiate favorable days both parties can get together to discuss whatever rubbish they want to talk about.

These clowns have a ridiculous sense of expectations and flawed sense of importance, just like the clown Dino trying to mess with the Customs Boss who put the clown in his lace with cold akamu.

The useless and incompetent clowns act as if running after and summoning ministers is their only job. What about deliberating, making and passing laws to solve the countless issues facing Nigeria.

I bet they don't even know the meaning of lawmakers
Re: Reps Pass Vote Of No Confidence On Fayemi, Bwari by deomelllo: 8:06pm On Mar 01, 2018
The Senate and its younger cousin, The House of Representatives, have a fashion of summoning ministers, heads of agencies and chief executives of sensitive companies. The chambers’ committees then assume the toga of a monarch, tossing questions at the invitees as though addressing a school boy.

They act as though they are the arbiters of the people’s will. They pose for the press, speak with grandiose morality and dramatise an ownership of protocol. For instance, in the last visit of members of the National Assembly to the office of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Hameed Ali, they expected the Customs chief to walk down to receive them on their arrival.

But the old soldier was not a man to bait. He retorted that he was not a jellyfish to be tossed about and insisted that the lawmakers were received according to protocol. After all, it was not as if the agency did not assign its officials to receive them. The legislative comedian, Dino Melaye, roared his protest over what he saw as an act of institutional contempt.

The man of Customs had to remind them of their earlier sins when he visited. No one treated him with such courtesy. In one word, the lawmakers were hypocrites. They do so all the time. They invite heads of agencies, even for inconsequential reasons.

Hardball has learned that they want those they invite to “drop.” When they don’t “drop,” then there is trouble and the lawmakers bicker and rant and ask for this document and that paper and insist vaingloriously as though they were fishing for something.

They did so not so long ago with the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), when they harangued the man with questions and it seemed they were more patriotic than the minister.

What happened between Fashola and the lawmakers is like the vacuous quarrel between husband and wife in which outsiders wonder over their pettifogging over inconsequentials. But the real issue is known only to the sparring spouses.

Hardball learned that the lawmakers had requested Fashola’s ministry to fund their overseas trips, and the minister did not agree. He said he did not want to contravene the protocol of this democracy that forbade one arm of government to fund another. The minister had wounded their vanity.

They also bombarded him with scores and scores of companies for contracts. The minister said they did not bid and it was against the protocol of due process to grant any such deals. They also wanted to acquire a high percentage of the contracts for rural electrification of the universities, and again the minister said no.

http://thenationonlineng.net/fashola-vs-lawmakers-2/

Fashola's 3 powerful ministries and Fayem's ministry used to be the reps's main bread and butter, these are the ministries they used fo feed fat on via kickbacks and contract awards where they set up fake companies and force the ministers to award contracts to their own companies while the ministry's ministers pad their own budget that the reps always gladly approve and they've been doing this for decades, but all that stopped when PMB put all 3 ministries under Fashola who effectively blocked all their scams and looting schemes.
