OP should do his/her reasearch again and come back

The lowest rank in the police is constable. A police recruit is simply a police in training. Even though that doesn't justify why they should be paid 9k, i just need to clear the misconception

During training, he is fed and housed. What does he need money for?

Until we pay govt workers living wages we are wasting our time 'fighting' corruption. No group of people came to this world to spectate while you and I buy cars, build houses and gallivant all over the world.

Terrible. Then we wonder why they are corrupt and accept bribe. How are they supposed to raise a family with these meager wages? Go to developed countries and their police force are treated like demi gods and well paid with full health insurance, pension and discounts for just about anything they want to buy. I don't support corruption, but until the Nigerian police force is well compensated, we shouldn't expect much from them.

You pay someone 9k,when 1 bag of rice is sold for 18k.Yet you expect him/her not to extor money from innocent people? It's not possible.
He is actually not spending the 9k. Police recruit is a person undergoing training and in their training camp, they feed them 3 times daily till they pass out and becomes police constable. The police officer salty starts from that 43k. The lowest rank is constable.

1. I wont accept this information because the minimum wage in nigeria presently is N18,000.00 and paying a constable N9568.00 is below that wage apprconstable he government years back.

OP should do his/her reasearch again and come back
